To ask If you were a penguin....

Comforter which has been glue to your human toddler side for a year and you were all of a sudden missing at bed time, where would you be?!

Last seen downstairs in the house!!!

We have a rabbit comforter who can often be found in kitchen cupboards...

I've tried kitchen cupboards, under the sofa, stuffed down the side of the chairs, the washing machine, the bin, the washing basket and no luck! 😩

Under the bed?

I'm usually on the floor underneath the dining room table.

In the toilet?

Toy box? Dryer? Garden?

The entire toy box has been emptied out. Nothing under the dining room table.

Definitely won't be outside.

Ahhhhhhh I'm so glad I've got him to sleep but he is so upset!

Fridge?

DS1s Taggie was found once down the back of the cat scratch post (had a box bit on the bottom and was against the wall) and once behind the TV unit.

The cat scratch post one had me frantic and I had dispatched DH to the local shop to retrace our earlier steps. The TV one came not long after and I'd got wise to his habit of posting it places so found it fairly swiftly.

Underneath the pushchair or in the hood bit.

Behind any units you have?

At the foot of the bed buried under the covers (we DD's rabbit was).

Does he have any toys it could be in?

My DS likes to put things in the basket of his bike.

Yeah he's been known to stuff thing under his chair or inside one hog his trucks but... nothing! I've been running round the house like a mad woman trying to find it 😩

I am not now, nor have I ever been, a penguin.

I would be behind the radiator to get warm. I would then be fucking furious I had been forgotten about and sulk until found again.

In the till of the shopping checkout thing, it was a kaloo baby pirate and he was missing for 3 nights and it was hell on - good luck!

Last time priceless giraffe comforter was lost, it had a been stuff inside a shape sorter bus

Behind the sofa? My son’s comforter always seems to get stuck there. Side of the bed?

I've checked the washing machine a good 6 times now and he hasn't magically appeared sadly. I've also been to the outside bin and checked the bag I took out earlier
