Does it work for mood and anxiety? Does it do anything at all? Is it worth buying?

I've started sleeping better. It may be a placebo effect but I'm sticking with it.

Moondancer73 · 23/10/2019 19:44

It certainly helps me sleep. Not so sure it's so helpful for migraines which what I hoped it would be good for but I do tend to take it more at night anyway

Leah2005 · 23/10/2019 19:46

I bought it for back pain and I didn't feel it did anything at all. Tasted foul too. Perhaps I gave up too soon (did about 5 weeks).

Trewser · 23/10/2019 19:48

I have back pain and I'm stressed and not sleeping. Don't want to waste my money though!!

Tastes like crap but if you stick with it and get to the right dose it can be very good.

cheezy · 23/10/2019 19:51

I’m sure it helps me sleep.

Trewser · 23/10/2019 19:52

I found the Vogels Dormesan good for sleep. That tastes disgusting but it did work. No good for relaxation though.

Tried the paste - I have nerve pain, depression and anxiety. Did nothing for me

Tableclothing · 23/10/2019 19:54

No one knows, OP. There's not much good quality research so far. This means we don't know much about potential negative effects as well as potential benefits.

It is unregulated, as well, which means you have no real guarantee of what you're buying or what active ingredients it may or may not contain. So even if you find a decent looking research paper attesting to the benefits, you may not be able to get your hands on an equivalent product.

Far2go46 · 23/10/2019 19:56

Depends on the dose, most of the commercially available stuff has so little CBD in it it's basically a placebo

Trewser · 23/10/2019 19:57

Ok. It's expensive as well! Maybe I'll just actually smoke a joint Grin

I was taking it for 4 weeks before I really noticed a difference. Taking for arthritis and associated referred muscle pain and sleeplessness

Moondancer73 · 23/10/2019 20:03

The one I had was raspberry flavour, didn't taste too bad

onthecoins · 23/10/2019 20:04

Following. I'm trying to wean myself off sleeping tablets so I ordered some yesterday.

fourfuckssake4 · 23/10/2019 20:06

Trewser, you may as well 😂

MrsPellegrinoPetrichor · 23/10/2019 20:11

Tasted awful and made me feel very very sick, it was a really low dose too!

I'm guessing you're joking but the humourless side of me can't resist mentioning the well-known association between smoking weed and mental health problems...

theendofsummer · 23/10/2019 20:13

Mum has CBD tablets from Holland and Barrett. Made a big improvement for bad pain in knees

Trewser · 23/10/2019 20:16

Yes I'm joking! Hate smoking full stop.

Did nothing for my migraines or aches and pains. I Took it religiously everyday as instructed for two months. Not sure if that was long enough ?

Moondancer73 · 25/10/2019 09:00

I bought this one - comes in several flavours from CBD lab Uk.

l used CBD oil for arthritis before and after hip replacement surgery. Specifically before, when l was in a lot of pain. lt worked when prescription medication didn't.
