To ask for Mumsnet to help with a small wedding hiccup?

NC as this is identifying! But Center parks, penis beaker, cancel the cheque etc.

I’m getting married in two weeks. Quite a few things have gone wrong along the way, including replanning the whole thing at a new venue after the original one had a huge fire a few months ago.

Anyway, this is a small thing.. but one of my five bridesmaids has just told me she lost the wrap I bought for her. They’re probably going to need them on the day as it’s November!
So I went online to buy her another only to find they don’t sell them any more. I can’t seem to find anything similar.

I was wondering if any of you vipers please have one lying around that I can buy off you?

I appreciate this is a small problem but it would look much better if they all match. I’m honestly not a bridezilla Grin

Not helpful sorry but if you do have to get one that doesn't quite match then have your chief bridesmaid/maid of honour have the one that's slightly different so that she stands out.

Grab one of the other ones and contact a local seamstress to help make a duplicate

StartingAgainID I don’t know why I gave it to her. I should have kept it and handed it out on the day as she has form for this kind of thing. But she’s 6 months pregnant so I can’t just let her freeze. Luckily the wedding is all indoors apart from a quick dash in for the ceremony, but that’s really not the point.

Really silly question @Weddinghiccup BUT the dress- is it in a dress bag? Only I've had things slide off hangers and into the bottom that haven't easily been seen. Anyway- if the wrap was on the hanger that the dress is on then there's a chance it's at the bottom of the dress bag and your friend mightn't have taken everything out to check. Just a thought!

OP I think I MIGHT have this. Got it from my mum and she shops at DP, no tags on it to tell but it looks the same.

I’ve attached a pic - it’s been in my drawer so in desperate need of an iron but if it’s the same one I’ll quite happily iron it and post it to you.

Sage she only just got her dress this week after outgrowing the original one so unfortunately it’s not in the bag with that Grin

If there's 5 bridesmaids, you could buy two wraps that complement the colours, rather than one that's a bit different. Then it would look like a style choice and you wouldn't have to fork out for five?

I can’t see it in the USA Debenhams site. If you have a maid of honour could she give hers to your careless friend, then get a different one for MOH? Would a faux fur white cape work with the dresses? DP and Debs both have that type
