The conception boards are gentler, they stop using it quite quickly in AIBU .

I just think some of these posters should lurk before posting as much as possible to get a feel of the place.

We don't need xx, or lol, or ur, or u. And this is because we are grown ups who can hopefully construct sentences as such. This is not facebook or whatsapp. And yes, I do silently judge all those people who use such language.

We have posters who useistive technology, who are dyslexic or whondo not have English as a flint language. It is much easier for those wupith barriers when standard English is used. The who can, should use it

I get irritated with people writing "tia" on the end of FB recommendation posts. TIA (as capitals) wouldn't be half as annoying, but can people seriously not be arsed to write "thanks" in full now?!
