Yanbu.

It’s our only night of the summer without our dd (night at grandparents) and we’re sat watching politics! 🤣

NotAnotherFeckingMuftiDay · 03/09/2019 21:41

Try following Ian Dunt on Twitter as you watch.

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 03/09/2019 21:42

Im watching shameless

Which is ironic

Keeping my eyes open for the vote

bestthingsinceslicedbread · 03/09/2019 21:42

I've been watching all night. JRM is giving me the rage 😠

shesgrownhorns · 03/09/2019 21:44

I’ve had to work out how to work the telly to watch it, and I’m not joking!

I’m thinking of ordering a pizza and making a long night of it!

Crabbitstick · 03/09/2019 21:46

Doing same. Going to retreat to bed and radio soon.

Stompythedinosaur · 03/09/2019 21:47

Me too. It's like a real life soap opera that will have massive impact on my dc's lives.

boatyardblues · 03/09/2019 21:49

It’s getting in the way of a series I was hoping to binge and finish tonight, but it’s oddly gripping.

See how few MPs are in the debating chamber, says it all really. They just don’t care and they will still vote without hearing the arguments from each side. Should all be sacked! And it’s tax payers money paying them too.

NearlyGranny · 03/09/2019 21:55

Nup, I'm there too! What on earth was JRM doing slumped like that, though? I couldn't read the body language at all. He looked more crumpled than languid.

JustDanceAddict · 03/09/2019 21:57

DH was earlier, I noticed how few MPs are there - do they not care?

JuneFromBethesda · 03/09/2019 21:57

I took the kids out to a trampoline park this morning, then to the park this afternoon. Got home, gave them dinner, then absolved myself of all further parenting responsibilities and settled down to BBC Parliament / BBC News and Guardian websites / Twitter for the rest of the evening.

MummBraTheEverLeaking · 03/09/2019 21:58

I could have been watching Bake Off on +1, but I've been watching BBC Parliament too!

JRM is a pompous smug twat yes Angry

JuneFromBethesda · 03/09/2019 21:58

I don't think it's that they don't care; it's that most of them already had their minds made up. If they didn't show up to vote, that would be something else - but there's a fairly full house now by the looks of it.

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 03/09/2019 22:00

Watching now

JuneFromBethesda · 03/09/2019 22:02

I can't believe we're heading for another general election

bellainthemiddle · 03/09/2019 22:13

Hardly a good start for Boris!

But what's going to happen now? Shock
