372 messages is a bit too much ucm....bit surprised it has lasted so long, and got so heated.

Aitch · 05/08/2007 00:57

pmsl... semi-literate.

TheQueenOfQuotes · 05/08/2007 00:58

they obviously haven't read some of the threads on topics such as breast/formula feeding, immigration, fruitshoots, etc etc - they'd see that we certainly don't all "follow" each other's views

UCM · 05/08/2007 00:58

But > I really was trying to be nice.

Aitch · 05/08/2007 00:58

'they'

1legmummy · 05/08/2007 00:58

I agree - sorry if I offended anyone - just in shock at how heated it got over someones opinion.

Time for bed

TheQueenOfQuotes · 05/08/2007 00:59

legmummy - someones un-informed opinion.....

UCM · 05/08/2007 00:59

So who is Lillaura, my guess is someone like Twig or Sherlock. It must be a wind up.

themoon66 · 05/08/2007 00:59

And someone said earlier about posties being on strike 'all the time'... well it is actually the first time they have held a strike in over a decade.

TheQueenOfQuotes · 05/08/2007 01:00

maybe it's Hunker

Pan · 05/08/2007 01:00

bet you were..I know you as a nice person without eve ntrying!

I do admire the OP's stickability, but why so when we all wish to rip up her petition??

UCM · 05/08/2007 01:01

Pan, I used reasoned argument and wasn't my usual self, then got told I was rude.

I shall stick to using expletives and pissing people off from now on.

TheQueenOfQuotes · 05/08/2007 01:01

well I guess she's gone to her 3 children...mind you know what they say "ignorance breeds ignorance"

1legmummy · 05/08/2007 01:01

maybe - but did not feel she needed to be spoken to in the way SOME were speaking to her so again I apologise

Aitch · 05/08/2007 01:02

not her petition, her friend's. her idiot friend.

lillaura123 · 05/08/2007 01:02

I am sorry I have re-read my thread and cannot see that I used anyones name therefore I do not deserve to be called a cunt

Pan · 05/08/2007 01:03

has someone mentioned the fact that as soon as you go on strike, you lose money?? I'm sure someone has.

Aitch · 05/08/2007 01:03

ROFL... you're the gift that just keeps giving.

themoon66 · 05/08/2007 01:04

Very interesting, but I doubt Laura will bother to read it.

lillaura123 · 05/08/2007 01:04

how dare you say that about my kids, i wouldnt stoop that fucking low - you know nothing about me are you speaking from experience - and what has my kids got to do with RM - u are rude

OP posts:
Pan · 05/08/2007 01:05

ucm - may I take back my OTT words to you on last nights thread? I don't wish it to get into a soap opera betwen us.

themoon66 · 05/08/2007 01:07

Only wanted to try and make you see the other side of things Laura.... if this is turnigng into a slanging match then I am off.

Aitch · 05/08/2007 01:07

it is an expression, ignorance breeds ignorance. you obviously consider yourself very well-informed on matters of worker-management relations so she can't have been referring to you.

TheQueenOfQuotes · 05/08/2007 01:08

wouldn't stoop how low??? sorry you've lost me now.

Well yes I think I am more experience in life than you, I've been married nearly 8yrs (so longer than you could have been), I have 3 children, I've lived abroad, I (along with my DH) have nearly gone bankrupt, we own our own home, until I was 11 I had pretty cr*p schooling, but things improved from there so reasonably literate........and I take other people's views into consideration and understand the fight's that people all around the world have to live in a democratic soceity where they are free to demand better pay and conditions.......
