Victoire had been chosen (and is the only name dh and I agree on) and now I'm inclined to change it as I really don't want to people to think I got the idea from Harry Potter or to immediately think of Harry Potter when they meet dd. V annoyed. + I'm worried that over the coming years it will become a much more widely chosen name (something I'd like to avoid when it comes to dd2's name). AIBU?

looking at your profile - only 3 years younger than you so clearly a name of it's time!

I wonder how many little boys will be named Ronald in the next few years .

Presumably not those with the surname Mcdonald anyway .

on my list for 2nd pg was (honest) Xenia ( I didn't know of mumsnet then...): as our ds1 has a quite normal name, same as some tsars of russia, and xenia was the sister of the last tsar so I thought the names went together the names went together.
Luckily, because I found mumsnet shortly after 2nd birth, I had a ds2

But I digress, just been upstairs to check a book and -
Victoire was the name of Queen Victoria's mother. So you can say that whenever anyone mentions HP.
