AIBU to feel upset by this?

DH is abroad with a few friends on a lads trip. His friend is getting married in September. So DH and his friends were at a restaurant, and they struck up a conversation with a group of women. One of the women kept flirting with DH, touching him and his crouch, asking him if he wanted to go to the club with her and he told her he was married, she then goes “ your wife won’t know..” Hmm

What upset me with this situation is that whilst DH was telling me this he kept going on and on about “how beautiful she was” , “how she can have anyone in England” ..”but it was so sad to see her give herself so easily” Hmm

AIBU to feel upset by this or am I reading too much into it?

He rang to tell you this?

MM29 · 10/08/2019 09:05

How did you find this out!!!

SexFarmWoman · 10/08/2019 09:06

Is he a bit thick?

cripsbutty · 10/08/2019 09:07

Yes he called me and told me what happened. He's been gone for a week, and we speak everyday. I feel like I can't be upset that a woman flirted with him, because that's not his fault but it's the comment about how beautiful she is, and how she can have anyone that pissed me off.

He phoned you to tell you this? That's nice. Does he normally do things like this?

Are you comfortable in your own skin, as that's quite important to this. If you're a confident lady then its a bit "ok love" but if you're not confident it's a real wanker move

PorkHollywood · 10/08/2019 09:10

How utterly bizarre that he told you when he's still away, especially the crotch touching part Confused

Alb1 · 10/08/2019 09:10

There’s no way she ‘kept touching’ him without him allowing it, if a man touched me I’d move away and atleast place my arms so I could stop them touching that area again. I’d be annoyed, it’s like he wants you to feel a little jealous really

Igetknockeddownbutgetupagain · 10/08/2019 09:11

He was flattered by the attention, but wanted to let you know that he was a good boy, didn’t do anything. He has proved his loyalty to you, and is now rubbing your nose in it. He really didn’t need to tell you that had happened though, as it has bothered you.

When I was at uni, I used to go out on girls nights without my partner and I knew it would hurt his feelings if he knew guys had come up and flirted, and some of the stuff they said was similar to the woman you describe - ‘Just a kiss! Your boyfriend doesn’t have to know!’
I just kept my mouth shut, didn’t tell him anything that would give him cause to worry about creepy people who don’t understand what a good relationship is.

Maybe say - DH, I can tell you enjoyed the attention, but I really don’t need to know that kind of thing.

Bluntness100 · 10/08/2019 09:12

Oh what a twat. He's showing off and trying to make you feel jealous. His ego has been stroked. Personally I'd assume some over exaggeration there.

Kolo · 10/08/2019 09:12

An ex bf used to say similar to me. A friend told me that it was clearly a plea for attention from me. “Look at me, beautiful women find me desirable, please notice me”. If he’s telling you, and not the woman he’s talking about, he’s trying to get something from you?

NoSauce · 10/08/2019 09:14

Lads holiday? It’s a stag do surely if his friend is getting married in September.

I’ve no idea why he told you. But personally in your shoes I would be sceptical in wondering what really went on here.

Shoxfordian · 10/08/2019 09:16

Sad that she'd give herself so easily...

This comment alone shows you what he thinks of women. He sounds like a knob.

LilouBlue · 10/08/2019 09:25

He's an arsehole, you get that right? Can you imagine doing the same to him? "Oh darling this absolutely GORGEOUS man was coming on to me all night, he was rubbing my breasts and begging me to sleep with him. I said no of course but I feel quite sad for how easily he would have given it up..." nope no way.

This situation is not good. Either it's completely true, and he's telling you specifically to make you jealous, which is disgusting. Or it's true, and he's incredibly misogynistic and thinks a woman who comes onto a man doesn't value herself or some bullshit. Or it's true, and he then went on to shag her and is telling you the minimum so if you catch on to any conversation when he comes home about "that girl from last night" he can wave it off.

NoSauce · 10/08/2019 09:30

Or this could be absolute hogwash.

Snoozysnoozy · 10/08/2019 09:36

And if he didn't tell you this happened but you later found out?

If bet he'd still be an arsehole

KUGA · 10/08/2019 09:46

He told you possibly out of fear you would find out.
That being said,he says how beautifull she is?.
Yes maybe,but she is clearly a s..g
I know a women who is only happy when seing married men.
And denies it when confronted.
Personally,i would say to your husband.
Who do you prefer,a beautifull slut or a lovely wife who would
not dream of doing such a thing especially with the knowledge you
are a married man.

SmileEachDay · 10/08/2019 09:48

If it had come out later that this happened on a stag do, would that have been worse?

“Oh DH, remember that hottie who was trying to pull you on the stag do...”

SmileEachDay · 10/08/2019 09:49

He does have a shitty attitude to women though, regardless.

Bezalelle · 10/08/2019 09:52

@KUGA that's a disgusting way to talk about women.

PorkHollywood · 10/08/2019 09:55

Hmm, slut and slag are disgusting terms, only used about women. Disgusting indeed.

KUGA · 10/08/2019 09:58

About one woman I know, not any other.

Shoxfordian · 10/08/2019 11:57

@KUGA
Assuming you're female, that is a lot of internalised misogyny.

Cherrysoup · 10/08/2019 12:00

What an utter twat. What is he hoping to achieve by telling you, seriously?

billy1966 · 10/08/2019 12:04

Absolute twat.

I would find any man who was dense enough to feel the need to tell me that seriously unattractive.

Don't be upset.
Just have a think about who he is.

Not any prize I suspect.

DontCallMeShitley · 10/08/2019 12:16

Did he also tell you how much she would charge him?
