DH is abroad with a few friends on a lads trip. His friend is getting married in September. So DH and his friends were at a restaurant, and they struck up a conversation with a group of women. One of the women kept flirting with DH, touching him and his crouch, asking him if he wanted to go to the club with her and he told her he was married, she then goes “ your wife won’t know..”

What upset me with this situation is that whilst DH was telling me this he kept going on and on about “how beautiful she was” , “how she can have anyone in England” ..”but it was so sad to see her give herself so easily”

AIBU to feel upset by this or am I reading too much into it?

He is basically saying

'I could have had this gorgeous woman, but I didnt. You need to be grateful for that and realise how lucky you are to have a man who could have such a gorgeous woman and didnt go for it'

Since when should someone be grateful their husband doesnt fuck someone else.

And why didnt he stop speaking to her the minute she touched his leg or became inappropriate.

To be honest it sounds to me like he was trying to fish for compliments - "oh wow you still turned her down for me" and/or giving back handed compliments to you "look she was beautiful but I love you and you're even better" - does that make any sense?!

He must not be used to being hit on OP if it's something he needs to tell you straight away and just how very lucky you are he said no.

@DontCallMeShitley Yep, was just about to post the same. Bet it's a stag do and they're actually in a strip club. Weird ass comment to make about her "giving herself so easily" if the woman was merely flirting and getting a bit handsy.

Also, as per a PP, why is she a slag simply because she was flirting (albeit a bit heavily) with the guy? I don't believe for a second he told her he had a partner.

He does get hit on in general when out, but I feel like it's harmless flirting and we're very close and tell each other everything. So yes, he tells me when a woman is flirting with him. Ive always put it down to us being so close, never thought of him trying to make me jealous.

But what happened abroad is not harmless flirting, it's on a different level. I trust him, never had a reason not to.

I feel like I'm seeing what he's said differently.

I have had alot of my single guy friends say that a girl is beautiful and that they don't need to throw themselves at people when girls have flirted with them.

They just find it a shame that a pretty girl has such low self confidence. Me and my partner are open with eachother and I don't think I'd of took offence to it.
