Not ones that go up my bum or fall down or make me look like a burst sausage. Is it too much to ask???Angry

Try Sainsburys, they do lovely pants. They actually stay where they are meant to.

RainOrSun · 03/08/2019 20:46

And cotton, please.

Branleuse · 03/08/2019 20:55

Depends What your shape is and what your style preference is.
www.johnlewis.com/john-lewis-partners-5-pack-pima-cotton-bikini-briefs/black/p370267 are my favourite bikini knickers. They stay put. Elastic is non frilly and lasts years.

My other favourite are sloggi double comfort shorts. I like these under gym kit as they stay in place, no vpl and have a terrytowel gusset. Very high waisted so very comfy. I like them under dresses too

Nanasueathome · 03/08/2019 20:58

I always buy Sloggi
Have tried others over the years but always come back to them

Fstar · 03/08/2019 21:01

Hanes or sloggi are great

Branleuse · 03/08/2019 21:04

I don't like the normal sloggi basics though. I find the seams and elastic itchy. Got to be double comfort

ShinyMe · 03/08/2019 21:04

Terrytowel gusset? That sounds peculiar!

I have some lacy shorts from Sainsburys which are quite nice. I'm fed up though, I had loads of nice M&S ones which are very old and are now falling into shreds, and I can't find anything as nice to replace them.

Branleuse · 03/08/2019 21:05

Yeah but not like a nappy lol, i get sweaty there so i like it. Don't knock it till you try it

delilabell · 03/08/2019 21:06

M and S big pants. I LOVE them!

BooksAreMyOnlyFriends · 03/08/2019 21:09

I swear by sloggi maxi control. They hold it all in and cover your bum but are still comfy.

jcurve · 03/08/2019 21:11

I have a couple of pairs of Sloggi double comfort bikini style. They’re amazing. I ran a marathon in them as they’re SO comfortable. Not particularly attractive, but so, so comfy.

I would like gussets to move a few cm further on pants. Frankly their positioning on standard pants is well off for me and my vagina.

HappyHippy45 · 03/08/2019 21:12

I'm another one for Sainsburys. I've been living in uncomfortable pants for too long. I found some "shorts", multi pack and bought one......tried them out....then bought another 2 packs.

Herbalteahippie · 03/08/2019 21:14

YANBU I mean, what’s with all the polyester? Why can’t cotton pants be nice and stylish? I swear the pants manufacturers have a deal with the pharma company that makes canesten and vagisil to cause as much yeast infection as possible Confused

ShinyMe · 03/08/2019 21:16

I really hate pants where the back is all one piece and your bum is squodged into one giant lump. They're also awful when you wear jeggings or something with a back seam. My nice old M&S big pants had good back seams with some elastic in, but I can't find any like that any more.

Jupiter13 · 03/08/2019 21:34

Lidl have just started doing their "comfy fit" lingerie brand...very good value for money and much more comfortable than more expensive makes.. Good luck.

beaneyes · 03/08/2019 21:37

Yep- would like some knickers that aren't disappearing up .,,, if I buy bigger ones the waist is too big. Can't win.

ManderlyAgain · 03/08/2019 21:39

I find the Bridget Jones style up to the belly button most comfortable. Not that attractive but comfy. I get the Tesco’s ones, have to go a size up mind...

Youwanapizzame · 03/08/2019 21:47

Ive just bought 15 pairs of m&s full briefs! A pack of black, patterned black and beigy, and patterned pink ( the pack of patterned ones are all slightly different) so I have thrown out all falling apart, shabby, stained pairs (nearly all) so yay now I have a pair on and my knicker drawer looks joyful. However I'm very happy that they are a size smaller!

Anthorn · 03/08/2019 21:52

jcurve couldn't agree more re the gusset. They are always too far back for me too.

Lemond1fficult · 03/08/2019 21:53

Another vote for Tu at Sainsbury's multipack. They look like new for ages too.

noworklifebalance · 03/08/2019 21:54

Second Sainsbury's - the no VPL and the shorts style

noworklifebalance · 03/08/2019 21:55

You may need to size up/down if they are falling down

geekone · 04/08/2019 02:21

Thank you everyone. Sorry for the delay I was off on a night out which is unprecedented lol. I will try Sainsbury’s, however I also don’t want my pants to be at my belly button, I think I want too much from pants. Confused

geekone · 04/08/2019 02:23

@noworklifebalance it’s definitely a size down? Moment sat 14 to a 12 however than my bottom (no matter how fantastic I think it is) eats my bloody pants.

@geekone
For the no-VPL I went a size up, not sure of that also works for normal knickers
