I'm on the couch in knickers and a smile (and a strappy vest because I just had to open the blinds to open the window further - lucky neighbours!)

DS 2yrs tiny bedroom is currently 27°c. He is in a nappy with the window cracked and nothing else. Here downstairs is hotter as the heat from the small yard/patio is radiating in from the back doors.

I'm fucking MELTING. Help!

Nobody is wearing PJs in our house. Luckily we have 2 fans from when we has a heatwave last time (all the shops had sold out and DH got there just as a new delivery arrived Grin)
So that's one fan for us and one for DD.

BettyUnderswoobs · 23/07/2019 22:11

Knickers.

Cold wet flannel laid on my middle.

Cannot fucking sleep. No words to describe how much I fucking HATE this weather 😩

ssd · 23/07/2019 22:12

I'm in Scotland. It's hot here cos I'm 50 odd and menopausal, but thank god its not like down south.

mogloveseggs · 23/07/2019 22:13

Bra, knickers and floaty top.
In hotel room with ds and dd. Ds in undies. Dd in T-shirt and knickers.
There's no air con in here. We're sweltering

Popskipiekin · 23/07/2019 22:14

A soaking wet vest top with fan directed at me. Almost bliss.

shieldmaidenofrohan · 23/07/2019 22:14

Nothing
If there was less I could wear, I would do

AnastasiaVonBeaverhausen · 23/07/2019 22:15

Monstrous granny pants and slinky satin cami. If I was 100 years younger I'd look quite hipster. As it is I just look like a dick. A big red sweaty one.

DearLady · 23/07/2019 22:15

Knickers, t-shirt. Not unusual for me to discard my trousers when I get in.

Greaterthanthesumoftheparts · 23/07/2019 22:15

We’re in southern Denmark and despite the sun today it’s relatively chilly now so i’m Relaxing on the sofa of our summer house in undies and a Short linen dress from Next.

hazandduck · 23/07/2019 22:15

Tiny vest and pants with a wet flannel round my neck! Ugh it’s horrendous! Supposed to reach 37 on Thursday?! Kill me now.

sparkli · 23/07/2019 22:16

Shorts and vest. Sitting out in the back garden in East Scotland - not a common occurrence at this time of night here! Making the most of the light nights with a glass of wine in my hand. Sleeping is going to be difficult...

Craftycorvid · 23/07/2019 22:17

I am (mostly) wearing literally the only clothing that doesn’t cling lovingly to my sweaty bod - and that is loose linen trousers and an equally loose linen tunic.

BananasAreTheSourceOfEvil · 23/07/2019 22:17

A minnie mouse christmas nightshirt that says 'waiting for mickey' on it.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

sparkli · 23/07/2019 22:17

DH has just arrived home and says the car thermometer is still showing 26c. I'm sure that's unheard of in these parts Grin

topcat2014 · 23/07/2019 22:18

Vest and boxers. Would pass for onslow from keeping up appearances

CremeEggThief · 23/07/2019 22:18

A cotton dress, just above knee length, knickers and a bra. I'll change into vest and shorts pyjamas for bed. It's 22° here, apparently, but we are very lucky to have a nice breeze.

SallyWD · 23/07/2019 22:19

In bed in vest and knickers

BogglesGoggles · 23/07/2019 22:19

Someone else’s beer Envy

hazandduck · 23/07/2019 22:19

@topcat2014 omg you made me properly burst out laughing 😂

TheHandsOfNeilBuchanan · 23/07/2019 22:20

Cotton short sleeved dress, all the doors and windows open (other than front door), fans are on, it's actually bearable, old houses seen to stay a bit cooler. DB has a well insulated new build that's lethal in this weather. On the upside his winter gas bill doesn't nearly lead to bankruptcy....

Babdoc · 23/07/2019 22:20

Linen trousers and a t shirt. Might put my fleece on, as it’s getting chilly as darkness falls (10.20pm) up here in Scotland. Sympathy to all the poor souls down south still baking. I think you’re meant to get a bit of a cool down from Friday, if you can wait that long!

stucknoue · 23/07/2019 22:21

Night dress for me, no duvet, DD's are walking about in bras and pants, nothing more revealing than swimwear but very unlike dd1 (dd2 is more open) ddog can't take off his "coat" so is huffing and puffing. 28 in my bedroom but 5 degrees cooler downstairs at the back and even cooler at the front downstairs, might go down there... except h is sleeping there (there's two sofas)

dudsville · 23/07/2019 22:22

Well, after a shower with the temperature dial turned all the way to cold (which is actually Luke warm this time of year) I put on my oldest, thinnest cotton PJ bottoms and floaty PJ night dress. So, if I sweat my thighs won't touch, and so that while I'm above the covers I'm still somewhat covered... can't bear being uncovered while sleeping! I have an empty cotton duvet cover for later. All the windows and curtains are open for now. Hoping to see some bats !

TheHandsOfNeilBuchanan · 23/07/2019 22:22

It's going to rain at the bloody weekend! We're meant to be having a BBQ!

Slinkenconken · 23/07/2019 22:23

Non underwired bra and big cotton pants.

Have a very important appointment on Thursday when it's forecast to be 37 degrees. Seriously thinking of wearing the same outfit.
