I'm on the couch in knickers and a smile (and a strappy vest because I just had to open the blinds to open the window further - lucky neighbours!)

DS 2yrs tiny bedroom is currently 27°c. He is in a nappy with the window cracked and nothing else. Here downstairs is hotter as the heat from the small yard/patio is radiating in from the back doors.

I'm fucking MELTING. Help!

Naked in bed, so same as every other night of the year. Summer duvet on over my lower half :)

Very lightweight Indian-style long dress

A Disney Rapunzel TShirt from Uniqlo that’s surprisingly cool and clashing paisley patterned jersey pj shorts that I got in a multipack from TKMaxx. It’s my go to sweltering heat nightwear of choice. I also have a perfect lightweight 100% cotton nightie that does the job but I wore that last night and it’s in the wash.

A short moo-moo, no bra - I look horrendous (saggy, snoopy ear boobs) but I'm cool.

I'm at work with thick socks, heavy boots, thick
Black trousers and a thick sweaty polo shirt.

I literally cannot wait to get home and strip off my feet have been on fire all bloody day!

It's about 32 degrees in work and that's with windows open and fans of for a breeze (windows need to be open as I work with smelly people!) and we have no air con, today has been a massive struggle!!

Nothing! Laid in bed with a thin sheet over me (so the bogey man can't get me) and have the fan pointed at me.

I love summer, I really do. So I absolutely will not complain about being hot...

@Tallgreenbottle Scotland, think it got up to 29degrees outside unheard of in these parts. Inside work was like a furnace and the heat has literally sent people crazy and everyone just had very short tempers!

Thankfully I'm now home (to my boiling hot house!) where I can at least lie about in my pants and feel no shame roll on tomorrow for more of the same

Anyway it's too hot for perfume but I've been spritzing myself with cold water from a plant spray with a little lavender added. Lovely! 😁

DH has just arrived home and says the car thermometer is still showing 26c. I'm sure that's unheard of in these parts

It is isn't it! My husband said the same when he came home from work, we're also in NE Scotland. I had my bedding on the line and when I went to bring it in the duvet cover was trailing on the ground probably due to the practically gale force wind blowing the pegs off. Washed it again, put it out at 5pm and it was dry by half seven.

Looks like it's the last warm sunny day for a while here, currently lashing it down, it's dark and miserable although it's 17C.

I feel sorry for those of you suffering from the heat, I hate being too hot unless it's lying by a pool with a cocktail in my hand wearing next to nothing!

Just went to screwfix and bought 2 more fans 🤢 if lastnight was hard tomorrow is going to be insane. Blergh.

Currently in short leggings and a sleep bra. Because fuck clothes.

Both teen daughters have boyfs so I cannot prance around in pants. Think it's time they both moved out really. All this trying to act like a normal person so as not completely humiliating them is EXHAUSTING
