Aibu to be worried that my toddler just picked up dog poo and licked it?

They are my dogs wormed regularly, I cleaned his face, hands, and made him drink water.

It happened so quickly.

If they’re wormed regularly it should be ok.

Keep making him drink water!

He’ll be fine, as a two year old my som had a ‘slight’ cat litter eating incident, he survived and I get to tell everyone he ate cat littler/possibly cat shit when he’s older.

He’ll be fine, my aunt did this as a toddler and she’s lived to tell the tale.

I caught my toddler - now 11yo dipping his biscuit into cow pee on our farm. He now has the strongest immune system of anyone I know!

Horse shit is actually fine. Relatively... It doesn’t have the sort of bacteria that cat and dog shit does.

I caught mine today scraping off and eating dried bird shit off a pipe. Toddlers are grim. When I said ‘oh no what are you eating?’ he just said ‘yum’

Both my children have amazing immune systems! Worst they get is a slightly snotty nose.

It’s the whole basis of immunisation, isn’t it? Introduce a small amount of toxins into the body to build up resistance. And we panic if they eat a biscuit off the floor 😆

My niece found a used plaster on the floor at the supermarket and licked it. She's now 17 so survived to tell the tale. Grim though.

In all honesty I'd just get some reassurance that there's no risk of anything nasty being transmitted like parasites.
