Toddler licked dog poo

Aibu to be worried that my toddler just picked up dog poo and licked it?

They are my dogs wormed regularly, I cleaned his face, hands, and made him drink water.

It happened so quickly.

Just worm the toddler next time you worm the dog.

Happyandglorious · 18/07/2019 17:28

Oh Lord. Suppressed memory of hours of fun as a kid running round the garden and stopping for a long drink at the sticking out pipe.... the one on the other side of the downstairs toiletBlush

Kahlua4me · 18/07/2019 17:31

My ds ate a snail from our garden when he was little. The crunching of the shell was very loud!

Biancadelrioisback · 18/07/2019 17:36

Mine stuck his finger in his own poo then licked it. Vile.

DS once emerged from beneath the table at DMs house looking very sticky around the mouth and asked innocently ‘Granny, what would happen to someone who ate out of the dogs bowl?’ Luckily the dog seemed happy to share and there were no ill effects.

🤮🤮🤮

Children are truly disgusting aren’t they!

Is putting the toddler up for sale an option?? Not sure your ever look at them the same after this tbh

FannyGall0ps · 18/07/2019 18:02

My little girl ate a snail. It was the most disgusting thing I’ve ever seen!!
By the time I got to her it was just shell, slime and a spit.

kallilla · 18/07/2019 18:12

@Soubriquet he did that the other day 🤢😱

ChihuahuaMummy1 · 18/07/2019 18:16

Jesus christ op I'd have thrown up

Phimma · 18/07/2019 18:17

Thanks for the comments, I'm somewhat relieved and have had a good chuckle.

He seems none the worse for his experience, I just need to keep a closer eye on dogs and child.

He'll be fine. My aunt actually ate a whole piece of it when a toddler and lived to tell the tale.

KC225 · 18/07/2019 18:19

We used to live near Richmond Deer park. Often my twins would pop in a poo pellet. I would be doing my but and DH would be laughing saying 'But its all the things you like, locally sourced and organic'.

HeadintheiClouds · 18/07/2019 18:22

pop in a poo pellet. Grin

thetwinkles · 18/07/2019 18:45

I told myself horse shit is just grass/hay munched up...organic and high fibre. It's a nightmare to get out of their teeth though. Considered flossing the 2 year old but couldn't bare him breathing on me for too long!

MitziK · 18/07/2019 18:46

I'm hiding this thread.

And never letting a small child ever kiss me again.

thetwinkles · 18/07/2019 18:49

@MitziK Grin don't let them touch you either you never know where they've been poking their fingers Wink

Namechangesareus · 18/07/2019 18:49

Oh this thread is bringing back horrible memories (not poo related) but I remember picking up chewed chewing gum from the ground and eating it.

thetwinkles · 18/07/2019 18:49

I've eaten a Bonio

pepsimax20bigger · 18/07/2019 18:50

My sister in law ate some dog poo as a baby Grin

Bookworm4 · 18/07/2019 18:51

He’s broken, rehome him, get another dog 😉

P1nkHeartLovesCake · 18/07/2019 18:51

MaisyMary77 · 18/07/2019 18:57

Rainbowknickers · 18/07/2019 19:12
