and simply get on with my day?

Before you all start, they're made out of angle iron so are very strong, and perfectly safe.

Bookworm4 · 15/07/2019 15:26

Are you on the twentieth floor of a block of flats? Preferably over s concrete or paved courtyard/pavement? If not, then yabu.

Procrastination4 · 15/07/2019 15:29

Do they not make play pens any more? My mother had 5 children and used a playpen. I had one for my own two boys when they were young. Invaluable because I could get on with the house work etc knowing they were safe.

SleepingStandingUp · 15/07/2019 15:33

Perfect, they won't even be lonely!

bloodywhitecat · 15/07/2019 15:34

Stuff the kids, I want one to hide in.

mumwon · 15/07/2019 15:40

@bloodywhitecat Grin

TeaAddict235 · 15/07/2019 15:43

Up to what age do they go?

How about a 5 yo just before dinner time? Will it contain him?

Please say yes, and I'll order a couple for the neighbours too.

Lydiaz · 15/07/2019 15:45

Yanbu
I'll have a cage over here too please

pollyhampton · 15/07/2019 15:54

@Procrastination4 playpens do exist but these are 100 times better cos with modern double glazing you wouldn't be able to hear the kids when they are crying. Win win.

Procrastination4 · 15/07/2019 15:58

pollyhampton Of course! I never thought of that vital detailGrin

TremblingFanjo · 15/07/2019 16:00

This is what a trampoline with a safety net is for.

Thenameisweasley · 15/07/2019 16:02

Oh no that is definitely not what I meant. I have a 2 year old with no fear and a 7 week old refluxer who screams 20 hours a day. If you sent one here I'd probably lose them Grin

bloodywhitecat · 15/07/2019 16:05

This is what a trampoline with a safety net is for.

To catch them if they happen to fall?

ApplesinmyPocket · 15/07/2019 16:05

One of the twins? Sure, take your pic.

Grin really laughed at that!

Livebythecoast · 15/07/2019 16:11

@ApplesinmyPocket
Ditto!
This is hilarious Grin

Rubbinghimsweetly2 · 15/07/2019 16:12

Jesus......imagine!

WaxOnFeckOff · 15/07/2019 16:13

We used to just get strapped into the pram and put outside the block of flats or DM would jam part of our clothes under the table leg so we couldn't go anywhere. I'm one of 7.

Ivestoppedreadingthenews · 15/07/2019 16:14

Looks ideal

MitziK · 15/07/2019 16:16

Don't be daft.

Stick a few pot plants out there, add some cushions, a fluffy duvet and a G&T and lock yourself away from them whilst they rage on the other side of the glass.

Actually, add a wafty, drapey curtain on your side.

Sorted.

ErrolTheDragon · 15/07/2019 16:18

It's like not locking a dog in a hot car, isn't it? With a hot summer forecast this seems perfect but don't forget to douse them in sunblock first.

foreverhanging · 15/07/2019 16:22

Genius

MLMsuperfan · 15/07/2019 16:29

Why did olde time babies look so hefty?

Ihaventgottimeforthis · 15/07/2019 16:38

I'd say for not more than three or four hours at a time though.
