That really. What toys do they enjoy?

OP posts:
anypossibleway · 04/07/2019 20:29

Mine loves their play kitchen and all the food and pots and pans. And brio

Robotics · 04/07/2019 20:29

Building blocks, toy cleaning equipment eg hoover, dolls buggies, water table, shape sorting puzzles (bonus if it's musical), toy kitchen

Stormyumbrella · 04/07/2019 20:30

Big into scooter, play kitchen and balls bizarrely.

JustMe9 · 04/07/2019 20:34

Building blocks, puzzles, cars, trains, stickers, scooter, slide - he plays with everything really lol

ooopsupsideyourhead · 04/07/2019 20:37

My Todd-Zilla lives for Brio and stickers. Nothing else holds his attention long enough for me to make and drink tea 😂

timeforawine · 04/07/2019 20:38

Play kitchen/play shop/aqua doodle/vtech toot toot/dolls/balls

PhillipeFellope · 04/07/2019 20:42

Balance bike, cosy coupe, digger ride on, any vehicle really. Playdoh, dolls House, woody and buzz lightyear interactive dolls, duplo and sticklebricks.

AndBreatheJustBreathe · 04/07/2019 20:42

When you all say brio do you mean the wooden train set?

OP posts:
Amanduh · 04/07/2019 20:44

Yes wooden train set. Kitchen and trolley and till. Sand and water table. Farm with toy animals. Car Garage with cars. Diggers. Dinosaurs. Bricks and blocks. Basically everything 😂

Amanduh · 04/07/2019 20:44

Oh yes and scooter, balls, any ride on!

FenellaMaxwell · 04/07/2019 20:46

He prefers getting the toys out and putting them away again to actually playing with them Grin

He loves puzzles and his kitchen though, and is just starting to get into building duplo.

misslucienne · 04/07/2019 20:46

Cozy coupe
Play kitchen
Toy phone and keys
Blocks
Football

EssentialHummus · 04/07/2019 20:47

Duplo, Megablocks, PlayDoh, kitchen, but mainly sticks, dirt, sand, ants, flowers and Tupperware.

MissisBee · 04/07/2019 20:48

Anything with wheels, throwing a ball. Stacking and building. A couple of homemade things - poking straws through holes in a box, putting curtain rings on a toilet roll holder

zigzagbetty · 04/07/2019 20:49

Loves sand pit, play dough, cars and wooden garage and farm animals

BadgertheBodger · 04/07/2019 20:49

Play kitchen, Toot Toot (although in my opinion the whole Toot Toot collection can get in the sea), books, trolley, dolls pram and dolly, car garage, trucks, anything I’m reading, touching or eating, anything anyone is reading, touching or eating Grin

Creatureofthenight · 04/07/2019 20:50

Sand and water table
Play doh
Puzzles
Tea set and play food
Cuddly animals

Siameasy · 04/07/2019 20:53

She never played with much at that age. It was quite difficult. I made “treasure boxes” (see Pinterest) and colour boxes (so eg everything in the box is yellow and it’s things that aren’t really toys.
She liked water play and probably would’ve liked kinetic sand but at the time it didn’t exist

sarebear1983 · 04/07/2019 20:53

My DS likes his toy oven, toy laptop with animal and shape buttons, train set, garage and cars and his scuttlebug. Also for outside balls and his little watering can to water (drown!) the plants Smile

SinkGirl · 04/07/2019 20:55

Have a look on amazon for Fat Brain toys. My boys absolutely love them, especially the spinny cogs one. They are obsessed and it’s something they can play with alone, experiment, order by size, colour etc. It’s the best toy we have by a mile!

PastaSauceHoarder · 04/07/2019 20:56

We got our little girl a big wooden castle for her birthday last month with little dolls and bits of furniture and she loves that. She also has been playing with a plastic potty a lot recently (hasn't been put to proper use yet mind!) and putting all her teddies and dollies on it to 'wee wee'.

Other current favourites are Playmobil 123 and play food. She seems to be into imaginary and role play games most of all at the mo. Smile

PotolBabu · 04/07/2019 20:57

DS2 is 2.5. Other than tormenting his big brother who is the very model of patience, he likes:

  1. Tea sets and tea parties.
  2. Toy kitchen.
  3. Playdough.
  4. Sticker books
  5. Puzzles.
  6. Some basic Orchard toys board games.
  7. Painting
  8. His doctor’s kit
  9. Happyland toys
10. Train sets.
Gigglebert · 04/07/2019 21:00

Train set, kapla blocks, dolls house, dinosaur toys, playmags, hape marble run, balance bike, just got a pedal bike and is now obsessed with trying to work out how to ride it

Tartsamazeballs · 04/07/2019 21:03

Doctors/vets depending if I or the dog are willing to be a patient, Duplo building, peg board, drawing, musical anything, scooter/kick bike, toy cars, "painting" the patio with a paintbrush and bowl of water or "washing" the windows. Currently she's trying to climb and jump off everything 🙄

Dontlickthat · 04/07/2019 21:07

His Henry and Hetty toy vacuum cleaners 🙄
