That really. What toys do they enjoy?

OP posts:
jb1305uk · 04/07/2019 21:08

Duplo, Happyland, Disney dolls, jigsaw puzzles, sticker books.

Pixie2015 · 04/07/2019 21:11

Old remote controls , coaster, sauce bottles from fridge, coat hangers, magformers, blocks and books - also other things he shouldn’t have!!!!

userabcname · 04/07/2019 21:15

His toy rocket. His favourite phrase is "blast off!" and he gets very cross if anyone else touches it.

ParrotsForLife · 04/07/2019 21:19

Train set. But my god the train rage.
The Ikea kitchen and 7 billion piece of pretend food.
Balls. Throwing. Not catching. Throwing. Not catching.
Pens. Fucking pens.
Pram and baby. Until baby pisses him off and she can get to fuck.

ooopsupsideyourhead · 04/07/2019 21:23

YES @Parrots train rage is REAL

Toodleoopuddle · 04/07/2019 21:27

ParrotsForLife · 04/07/2019 21:37

@ooopsupsideyourhead
If I as so much look like I’m about to help then it’s track flying everywhere.
Train rage. Fuck the terrible twos. It’s all about the train rage in my house.

SummerInSun · 04/07/2019 21:40

All his 6 year old brother's toys, no matter how age inappropriate!

Pandamodium · 04/07/2019 21:42

His willy Blush and the laundry basket.

He has real toys honest.

firesong · 04/07/2019 21:53

Ride on car
Other cars
Puzzles - can't do them properly but likes looking at them
Chalkboard
Water / bubbles

And his fave - lying on my bed while I throw the duvet/sheet up and let it drift back over him. Or both lie inside and I hold my legs up to make a tunnel for him.

Wheresmrlion · 04/07/2019 21:57

😂 pandamodium

Anything in the garden - ball, watering can, sandpit, ‘helping’ hang up washing
Squeaky eggs
Cutting food (stuck with Velcro)
Magnadoodle
Magnetic fishing
Latch board
‘Magic’ painting books (no mess!!)
Play doh
Soft toys - feeding, wrapping them up, changing their nappies
Dancing to beatbo robot
Finger puppets

Minai · 04/07/2019 21:59

Today’s favourite game was tipping tampons out of their box and putting them back in again. Over and over.

Other than that he really loves anything with wheels, he has matchbox cars, a happy land fire engine, a twirlywoos boat and a brio set.

londonrach · 04/07/2019 22:02

Orangedaisy · 04/07/2019 22:04

Till. She says it’s her computer. Also dolls and a wooden birthday cake with candles. Also discovered kinetic sand this week, which went down well.

IntoValhalla · 04/07/2019 22:08

Flavour of the month appears to be dinosaurs at the moment, and anything dinosaur related!!
I bought a bucket of little plastic dinosaurs (about the size of an adult hand) a week ago, which came with lots of plastic trees, rocks and a big volcano and he’s played with them every single day and hasn’t been remotely bothered about anything else!

NannyR · 04/07/2019 22:12

She turns two next week - she loves the wooden train tracks, duplo, dollies and pram, play dough and kinetic sand, drawing, magnatiles for indoor toys and her microscooter for outside.

tinyvulture · 04/07/2019 22:12

From what I remember, she liked Happyland toys. (The little figures, buildings etc).
For playing together, Orchard Games were good. That was late 2/nearly 3, tho.......

Mallowmarshmallow · 04/07/2019 22:15

My two year old liked whatever her big brother was holding. Whatever it was. Nothing else would do.

Still much the same at three...!

Number3or4 · 04/07/2019 22:20

Anything he can throw. So I hidden most hard things and left him with lots of soft toys. Luckly, he also loves drawing and I give him lots of paper and colouring pencils.

Minai · 05/07/2019 09:26

Haha I am glad to read about the train rage. I thought everyone else’s toddler was happily playing with their train sets whereas mine just gets irrationally angry over nothing and destroys the entire thing Grin

user1483387154 · 05/07/2019 09:27

IhaveALooBrush · 05/07/2019 09:38
