She might well still be in labour - just because it was quick last time doesn't mean that there aren't problems this time! Anyway, your waters can break and labour not start straight away...

Can understand your excitement at wanting news though!!!

Twiglett · 25/07/2007 18:20

it would be rude and obnoxious to text a "SO?" message wouldn't it?

Twig, sometimes births are different (longer) between 1st and 2nd - mine was much longer 2nd time round! Try not to worry, I'm sure they'll let you know as soon as they can. Sooo frustrating though, isn't it? You could call the mat ward if you really can't wait but I don't think I'd send a text or anything, just in case....

bossykate · 25/07/2007 18:23

yabu! it's just soooo not about you!

bundle · 25/07/2007 18:23

is she in hospital? or at home?

Twiglett · 25/07/2007 18:25

I beg to differ BK .. it is totally about me

she's at home .. why? do you think I should nip round?

doggonit anyone?

agnesnitt · 25/07/2007 18:34

I think it's utterly unreasonable that her waters have broken. How dare they be gone when some of us are still intact?
