to be gutted i'm finished harry potter?

sorry if there's another thread somewhere already but i'm just gutted the series is finished but at the same time praying she doesn't ruin it by writing another.

Everyone I know said 6 was naff at the time.

Would love an encyclopaedia with character histories etc.

Have really enjoyed reading the books (6 aside, lol) and watching the films.

oh no, book five was the worst one, I couldn't bear it. Book six was loads better than book five.

nah book 5 was definitely the worst as it was based purely on setting up book 6&7 so it was just there to establish the order of the phoenix really. book 6 had a lot of snape related stuff and since he's probably my favourite character i enjoyed it.

I hated book 5 so much, I refused to buy / read book 6 till I saw it cheap at the supermarket the other day (so yes I am effectively 2 books behind!)

I was at the coffee shop today, reading no. 6, and an old couple, who must have seen me reading HP, started talking about book 7. At least one of them mustn't have read ANY of them, because the wife was explaining to the husband that there were 7 books and the last one had come out, how one of her daughters had finished reading no. 7 but was dying for her I guess sister to finish it so they could talk about it...

THEN...

the old woman started telling her husband how it finished!!!!!!

Now I DO know what happens, so I wasn't surprised BUT if I DIDN'T know what happened, and I wanted to keep the ending a surprise, I would have been so p*ssed off with this couple!!!

Infuriating!

Where do these people get off?
