Aibu? Fecking cold here. Heavily pissing with rain most of the afternoon. Coooold. Anyone else got their heating on? If I had an open fire I'd have a couple of logs on by now, but I don't even have a fireplace! Grin

Yep, pu it on about 10 minutes ago.

It pissed with rain briefly about half an hour ago, and the rain was followed by the most amazing double rainbow.

Deadringer · 15/06/2019 20:36

Me too, and I have a bloody blanket over me on the couch!

LordNibbler · 15/06/2019 20:37

I've had the heating on all week. I'm sat on the sofa with woolly socks on and a throw over me. If this is supposed to be June I want my money back, nul points so far for summer.

Slazengerbag · 15/06/2019 20:50

We haven’t got the heating on but I put a throw on the bed that I packed away in April. I went to work yesterday with a coat and my winter boots on.

Totur · 15/06/2019 20:51

Yes, cold here too. Depressing.

mimibunz · 15/06/2019 20:53

Same here. Looks like those on the I Hate Summer thread got their way.

StayAChild · 15/06/2019 20:55

Same here, though I've just read that it will be hotter than Barcelona next week Wink

Pipandmum · 15/06/2019 20:57

Warm here now. I’ve a wood burner and had it going a couple times earlier in the week but doors still open to garden now.

OublietteBravo · 15/06/2019 20:57

We put ours back on on Wednesday. It’s not been switched off again yet.

Aprillygirl · 15/06/2019 21:11

Jeez is it really that cold where you lot live? I'm down south and yes it's been raining on and off for the last few hours and not typical June weather for sure, but it's really not that cold here and putting the heating on hasn't crossed my mind!

HundredMilesAnHour · 15/06/2019 21:14

I was outside all afternoon at a 'sporting event' and it was quite pleasant when the sun came out. Not so nice when it started raining! But I got home an hour ago and inside feels so cold. This thread is making me want to put the heating on.

hopeishere · 15/06/2019 21:16

Me too. It's apparently 11 outside. Ffs.

IvyisGreen · 15/06/2019 21:18

You don’t need the heating on surely? It’s not that cold! Put a jumper on and stop using up so much fossil fuel.

Hairwizard · 15/06/2019 21:21

Ive had heating on this week too! Where the fuck is the warm weather?? We shall prob get a heatwave as soon as twins born and i cant get out. Fml.

MereDintofPandiculation · 15/06/2019 21:27

Put a jumper on and stop using up so much fossil fuel. I've got a jumper on, it's 11deg outside, house was down to 14 deg before I put the heating on, and I needed to spend today working at the computer.

Totur · 15/06/2019 21:30

If fossil fuel was a problem, we'd have global warming surely, so wouldn't be sitting with dressing gowns on over hoodies in the middle of June!

LordNibbler · 15/06/2019 21:32

Put a jumper on and stop using up so much fossil fuel Who died and made you the boss of the fossil fuel? People who say stuff like that make me want to turn the heating up higher..... Hmm

BaaBaaBaaMoo · 15/06/2019 21:32

Heating off but just lit the stove!

U2HasTheEdge · 15/06/2019 21:33

It is cold and my heating is still coming on. I was out today and it was windy and cold. I don't think we are going to have much of a summer this year. I am so sick of rain and the grey.

Noonemournsthewicked · 15/06/2019 21:35

Heating on for a hour today.
Could see my breath several mornings this week.
Fluffy pjs and a blanket right now.
I hate hot weather but this is equally as shit.

Snog · 15/06/2019 21:45

My heating has been on for 4 days now.
Thank god.

AntiHop · 15/06/2019 21:59

@totur global warming means that generally the world is getting warmer, not that there's no cold weather. Climate change is the more accurate term for it, as warming in some parts of the world means colder weather in other areas or other times of year.

Totur · 15/06/2019 22:02

Aye - hence the ice age and the period after it. Where the world warmed up.

HainaultViaNewburyPark · 15/06/2019 22:03

Put a jumper on and stop using up so much fossil fuel.

Because the jumper is obviously entirely carbon neutral Hmm

LordNibbler · 15/06/2019 22:04

@snog......what, you didn't put your jumper on? Shame on you. Grin
