i'm by no means prudish or uptight about language but it's the one word i really truly hate. it just sounds so...yuck.

ugh, fanny is just as disgusting but it's less sexual imo. i usually just say vagina...i know it sounds quite clinical but it is what it is i guess

YANBU I hate it too. It's so ickily twee. Plus, I live alone with my cat so from time to time, have had to deal with hilarious yack-yack Sid James 'jokes' about stroking my pussy.

Personally, I like the word cunt, and in the interests of reclaiming it as a positive term (I hate it being treated as the worst swear word ever!), ask my partner to use it. So he does, and only ever says it lovingly. All very Lady Chatterley... works for me.
