(when referencing vagina)

i'm by no means prudish or uptight about language but it's the one word i really truly hate. it just sounds so...yuck.

CookPassBabtridge · 27/05/2019 22:08

In everyday life... yuck. 🤢 During sex... yes please 😂

HagridsBigToe · 27/05/2019 22:09

I don't really like it either. But it's better than gash or twee terms like "bits", "downstairs" "lady garden" or, worst of all, "front bottom".

chloechloeharris · 27/05/2019 22:10

cunt is a term of affection or a general word for people round my parts!

(as in where i live, not my PARTS parts Blush)

OP posts:
Sparklesocks · 27/05/2019 22:11

I think most words for it are a bit gross, the evolution of language I guess!!

HagridsBigToe · 27/05/2019 22:15

I don't actually find cunt very offensive. (although I rarely use it outside my circle, because I am aware people may have strong feelings about it). It's just a word. I find racial, disabilist etc slurs much more offensive to be honest because they are actively hurting people.

Heptapod · 27/05/2019 22:19

Agreed, Hagrid. I tend to suppress a desire to smack women who use coy euphemisms for their own body parts.

I’m also reclaiming cunt, and reviving quim and quaint.

TompotBlenny · 27/05/2019 22:21

I know what you mean, magicBrenda, and I used to feel the same way. Then I thought: why is 'cunt' so terrible? Why should it be, like, the worst thing you can call someone, when it used to be simply a neutral word for our lady parts? A cunt is actually a beautiful thing. In the same way, a 'fuck' can be a loving, intimate act if you both hear it and agree on it in that way. My partner is a little older than me and very traditional but now he likes using those words. We want each other, and can't be doing with frilly euphemisms!

BettyPitts · 27/05/2019 22:50

My pussy is way too furry at the moment.

I prefer pussy to growler.

TurboTeddy · 27/05/2019 22:59

I'll just leave this here......

Grr where's the gif gone?

YoThePussy · 27/05/2019 23:16

Just wanted to say my user name references my street cats who strut around and I think say Yo to each other rather then meow.

Like Quim, might start using that.

steff13 · 28/05/2019 00:12

gash, or ham sandwich, or axe wound.

Well, those are just horrifying.

cheeseislife8 · 30/05/2019 18:51

I agree with Hagrid on "front bottom", that's just utterly horrendous

SinisterBumFacedCat · 30/05/2019 18:53

God yes, it sounds infantilising. Much prefer cunt.

ALongHardWinter · 30/05/2019 18:58
