I mean, he’s definitely the hottest of the Tory leadership candidates isn’t he? Not a strong field obviously, but not being crazy is quite attractive. And I think he’s pretty convincing as ‘prime minister written for a Richard Curtis light comedy’. Also sexy doesn’t mind working in a war zone background. It’s just me, isn’t it?

I feel like he's severely undernourished and could do with a bit more protein and carbs.

cakeallday · 26/05/2019 21:52

Sorry to derail but I stared open-mouthed as I thought it said Rod Stewart too Confused

Here's the meme that always comes to mind. You're welcome.

That Rod Stewart meme reminds of this Ronnie Wood/Paul Weller one.

Whilst I don't agree with basing political decisions on attractiveness Shock I do wonder how the fuck he goes from photo A to photo B

Its like beer goggles isn't it? You went to bed with A (quite dishy) but woke up next to B

midsomermurderess · 26/05/2019 22:13

I sort of see it but his suits and shirts always look too big for him, and what is with that terrible green tie? Didn't he used to have the nickname of Florence of Arabia, from back in the day when in Iraq?

YourBonesAreWet · 26/05/2019 22:13

You can keep him as long as I get Hunt. He is mine Grin

pigsknickers · 26/05/2019 22:24

Yes he's hot Blush at least he was when he was walking across Afghanistan. I was gutted when I read he'd become a Tory MP. He's got a squeaky voice though so on balance I probably wouldn't.

YANBU

I definitely would

WouldHAVEcouldHAVEshouldHAVE · 26/05/2019 23:00

woodcut They’re similar enough! I have zero chance of ever getting it on with Nate so I’ll pin my hopes on Rory for now and start hanging round Downing Street Grin

LesserBohemian · 26/05/2019 23:05

When I first saw him, I did do a bit of a double-take but that official photo (B) is bloody awful!

I think he’s got a hint of Eddie Redmayne about him which puts me right off .

Charley50 · 26/05/2019 23:22

Love those meme's! (Is that what they're called?). Now I know who you mean, I presumed he has an eating disorder.

Somertime · 26/05/2019 23:33

I've worked with him in the past and from a professional point of view he was utterly charming. He genuinely seemed to care about his work and the people who worked for him. Very rare for a politician - I've worked with lots over the years. That said I can completely understand a PP who said he was a chaotic boyfriend Grin

Angie169 · 26/05/2019 23:49

oh good lord no , I had to google him as I could not remember what he looked like and now I wish I hadn't . Shock
If you do like him and hedgehogs watch this . . .

Now Ed Balls on the other hand Mmmmm

Heptapod · 26/05/2019 23:56

He does have a hint of Eddie Redmayne, I agree. It’s the very wide mouth, I think.

Quintella · 27/05/2019 00:03

If Eddie Redmayne were playing a consumptive Victorian clerk.

Tillygetsit · 27/05/2019 00:20

GRIM!!!! Jesus I'll never get to sleep now. He looks like a ventriloquist puppet who'd like a hand shoved up his bum.YABVVVVVVVVVU 🤮

wheresmymojo · 27/05/2019 00:26

Apparently his speech on hedgehogs was one of the best people have heard in Parliament in recent times I kid you not

JustHereforHarriet · 27/05/2019 00:30

He looks like a puppet.

Heptapod · 27/05/2019 00:32

Yy, Quintella. You could cast him as Leonard Bast or Bob Cratchit.

Spudulike3 · 27/05/2019 06:26

Ah, I thought you said Rod Stewart and I thought that's a bit of an odd one!

nuttynutjob · 27/05/2019 06:39

Well Brad Pitt bought the movie rights for his book.

longwayoff · 27/05/2019 06:40

Seems like a nice person wtf doing in Conservative party? He'll finish up doing a Matthew Parris who left because the party overall was too horrible to bear.
