This really. And the last one. We need some higher calibre contestants again and a really good mix. I'd love to see Jo Brand, Jack Dee, David Baddiel, Dawn French, and especially Adam Buxton mixed other old school mixed with the young crew.

I agree. It seems a bit half-arsed this series. It's not that I dislike any of the contestants, but none of them is particularly entertaining and the tasks aren't interesting enough to make up for that.

Totally. I had high(er) hopes for the last series but didn't think it was great. This one is just awful, there's no energy between the contestants at all and Joe Thomas has absolutely zero personality.

I agree. There are funny moments, but it's nowhere near as good as some of them have been.

No don't think Jack Dee has appeared yet. In the first few series it was absolutely ace. It def needs a mix of ages, experience, etc

Zawe Ashton, Ade Edmondson, Vic Reeves, Morgana, Matt Berry, etc it just need to shaking up a bit

They do seem to be rattling through the series's now though, they must be doing 2 a year?

Who was your favourite contestant/favourite TM moment?
I thought Mel Giedroyc was fab, she was just so chirpy all the time. Joe wilkinson's potato golf in series 2 was amazing.

Same! Not really finding much of it funny this time! Contestant mix is just a bit random, hadn't heard of three of them!

This series is very weak, unfortunately.

The series with Mel Gedroyic (spelling?) and "Desky" has been my favourite and I've found some of the people I don't recognise good too. Got bored with the last series, haven't seen any of this series yet but maybe won't bother.

i love greg davies in everything he has ever done but from season 1 i never liked taskmaster

James Acasters rant at Rhod Gilbert in the lase series was amazing! Doc Brown one of my fave contestants. But I also loved Nish Kumars series and his 'how do you like them apples' episode. Number of times you called the ball rascist...

Agree this series is poor, the combination of guests just doesn’t work. I rewatched the last series with Rhod Gilbert etc, over the weekend, was so much better. Genuine laugh out loud moments!

I wasn’t a fan of the Lisa tarbuck series either, mainly due to my immense dislike of Russell Howard. He ruined it for me.

But, generally it’s a very funny programme, one of my favourites.

I agree @kernobhead I get the same Russell Howard feeling from Iain Stirling. Some absolutely genius moments along the way. Too many to single out but if Bob Mortimer is involved it's been a winner..
