Council house waiting times

I am currently on Band A for Leeds homes and Yorkshire housing. I have been on Band A for 3 months now and my position is still fairly high ie (50s-100s). The reason I need to move is extremely urgent and personal , I understand that there is a lot of people on the housing register and I am happy and grateful to even be on there , I can understand it can take a while.

What I’m posting for is to find out any stories regarding waiting times and what priority you may of been on or are on?

Just out of interest and curiosity but also to see how long it can roughly be until I’m offered somewhere ?

Could someone please help me? I live in Leeds, West Yorkshire, and I've been residing here for 14 years. Despite consistently bidding for Leeds Council housing during this time, I've never received an offer. I currently reside in a problematic 4-bedroom privately rented house, experiencing numerous issues with the landlord. I've reported these problems to the council, but despite bidding regularly for a 4-bedroom house, I haven't received assistance. What should I do? Can someone please help me?

What areas are you bidding on. The wait is years in leeds

On band 4 (ours are 1 to 4 not A to D) I waited 11 years. That was not being picky, I bid for everything except bedsits.

I'm just been told I'm on a management move is there anyone that has had one and give me a time scale on how long it can take

Most providers attempt to find you housing within 3 months, and if they can't you may have to extend the areas you would move to..

But depends on the size property you may need. For my HA anything 3 bed or bigger is usually around 12 months although we have had people waiting for upwards of 2 years.
