Not to want to be forced into sorting out who's going where for CHRISTMAS at the beginning of July?

Surely I'm not the only one who doesn't want to get embroiled in this until, ooh, November at the earliest.

I don't want to go to my SIL again either.

I don't mind people coming to me but I really hate packing up all the children and their kit & presents etc to drive around the country trying to please everyone. We spend most of the festive season packing and sitting on the A303.

We have a cunning plan though - we invite a "waif & stray" to spend Christmas with us - someone who might be on their own. Not a big charidee thing - more the bloke in the office going through the messy divorce or the student from the US who can't afford to go home - works a treat!
