A woman bought a loaf of bread to find it was all crusts. She was not amused. It would have been my daughter's perfect loaf!

So I was wondering what other foodstuff have you bought that weren't right?

I had a box of double yolk eggs (best few days of my life! 😂 I genuingely didn't even know that you could get double yolk eggs), a whisper with no bubbles, a kit Kat with no biscuit and the one that bothered me... a packet of crisps with just 2 crisps in it! They were large crisps but still. 😂

NC.

I’ve had a solid chocolate kit kat too!

Crustyloafs · 14/05/2019 15:50

@HBStowe how do you think they happen?

Grumpbum123 · 14/05/2019 15:51

I want a solid kit kat

ANewDawn10 · 14/05/2019 15:51

Probably not the same thing but we ordered takeout, got all the way home and found it stuffed with napkins and straw and sauce !! Too far to go back.

ThatCurlyGirl · 14/05/2019 15:52

I fucking love crusts.

Favourite is the end bit of french bread - and nobody else ever wants it so it's always up for grabs GrinGrinGrin

SauvingnonBlanketyBlanc · 14/05/2019 15:53

A kitkat with no biscuit in.That was a good day.

ThatCurlyGirl · 14/05/2019 15:54

Oh also ate what I thought was a grape.

It was an Olive. Which are basically shit gross sneaky grapes.

Rankkkkkk.

IHaveBrilloHair · 14/05/2019 15:54

An empty bag of scampi fries

Chowmum · 14/05/2019 15:54

I got a packet of Lidl's version of a monster paw shaped snack with 2 packets' worth of paws inside. It was stuffed (and so was I, once I got the packet open.)

Chowmum · 14/05/2019 15:56

On a less appetising note, I was hiding under my gran's sideboard one Christmas (as you do) and ate what I thought was the raisin I had dropped.

It was a rabbit poo.

Chowmum · 14/05/2019 15:58

I do call bull$hit on the loaf of crusts though.

AdaColeman · 14/05/2019 16:15

I once got a boxed supermarket kit for half a Chinese crispy duck and pancakes that had TWO half ducks in it! What luck!

My first thought about the bag of crusts was to wonder how long it had taken her to gather them all together!

Geraniumpink · 14/05/2019 16:21

Grapes with living spider and nest.

ThatCurlyGirl · 14/05/2019 16:27

@Geraniumpink FUUUUUUUCK I can feel it on me is it on me ShockShockShock

NewSchoolNewName · 14/05/2019 16:28

I got a packet of jam doughnuts from the supermarket that turned out to be custard doughnuts in the wrong packet 🤮🤮🤮

I don’t understand how a loaf of crusts could happen without deliberate tampering though. I thought the loaves went through a slicing machine one at a time and then straight out into bags.

Davros · 14/05/2019 16:40

I love getting a kitkat with no wafer. But why? I could just buy a bar of chocolate but it's extra exciting

GaspingGekko · 14/05/2019 16:45

@Geraniumpink I had similar. Had eaten most of the bunch before I spotted the web and curled up dead spider.
Took me at least a decade before I could eat grapes without wretching. Envy - not envy.

Crustyloafs · 14/05/2019 16:55

@AdaColeman - 2 half ducks. Win!

Spiders in grapes? At least it wasn't a mouse in your baked beans. www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/gallery/2012/sep/19/food-with-unexpected-animal-extras

All I can think of with the bread is that when they make ready made sandwiches they need to do sonething with the crusts so maybe it got mixed up somehow?

I feel sad that my kit Kat was not something unique. 😂

Sweetpea55 · 14/05/2019 16:59

I had some Bassett Allsorts with no Bertie Bassett in them..

Geraniumpink · 14/05/2019 17:01

Now I always check my grapes before buying them....

Dancer12345 · 14/05/2019 17:04

I’ve also had the wafer-less KitKat.

The other day I had a bag of Munchies and four of them had no biscuit in!

ByeGermsByeWorries · 14/05/2019 17:05

I've also had custard donuts in a jam bag from the co op 😷

imsorryiasked · 14/05/2019 17:05

A tin of button mushrooms that sadly didn't have any mushrooms in, just the briny liquid stuff.

SpeckleDust · 14/05/2019 17:07

A Tesco Value fish finger with no fish in it.

I went to the trouble of posting it back to Tesco customer services with a letter of complaint and the measly fuckers sent me a Tesco voucher for 57p (or whatever a box of 10 Value Fish fingers cost at the time).
