To ask for your excellent morning songs

Do you ever feel bursting with playlist inspiration, until you have the free time to make one, then your mind goes blank? I'm trying to compile a short playlist (maybe an hour tops?) to play as my morning motivator. So far I have three songs -

It's a good day - Peggy Lee
Wake up no - The Boo Radleys
Good day sunshine - The Beatles

Looking for upbeat, singable, positive songs to set me up for a fantastic day (of parenting my two darling offspring with no car in a rural location during the endless summer holidays...)

So please hit me with your best suggestions. I will inevitably add 'can't hold us' by Macklemore as I cant seem to make a playlist without it, and I'm trying to resist adding Poppy's bouncy little number from Trolls...

I'm loving Florence and the machine at the moment, so Ship to wreck would be on mine. My boys love Elton I'm still standing and we've also been blasting the prodigy since Keith died although it's maybe not 'early morning' music.

bakingdemon · 21/04/2019 19:13

Obviously the good morning song from Singing in the Rain!

maras2 · 21/04/2019 19:14

Good Morning Starshine by Olivier Tobias.

ijustcannotdoit · 21/04/2019 19:16

Was going to say 'Mr Bluesky' and 'You make my dreams' but I've been beaten to it!

How about Coldplay 'every tear is a waterfall', 'something just like this' or 'paradise'?

Wonnacott35 · 21/04/2019 19:24

Wake up everybody - Harold Melvin and the Bluenotes
