To ask for your excellent morning songs

Do you ever feel bursting with playlist inspiration, until you have the free time to make one, then your mind goes blank? I'm trying to compile a short playlist (maybe an hour tops?) to play as my morning motivator. So far I have three songs -

It's a good day - Peggy Lee
Wake up no - The Boo Radleys
Good day sunshine - The Beatles

Looking for upbeat, singable, positive songs to set me up for a fantastic day (of parenting my two darling offspring with no car in a rural location during the endless summer holidays...)

So please hit me with your best suggestions. I will inevitably add 'can't hold us' by Macklemore as I cant seem to make a playlist without it, and I'm trying to resist adding Poppy's bouncy little number from Trolls...

Boston - more than a feeling, used to use it as my alarm until DH (then DBF) moved in and asked if I could turn it down a bit as I got up before him and he's not a fan of blaring retro pop rock in the mornings 🙄.
It's ok I play it to DS now in the bath, he loves it especially when I do air guitar

Cfs83 · 22/04/2019 05:14
