Antman is going to be critical because of what he has gained knowledge-wise getting out of the Quantum realm alone. I'm not sure exactly what Captain Marvel is going to bring to the party but Thanos had better get his arse handed to him in the same spectacular way she dealt with Yon-Rogg!

Do you think it’s time travel then?

Bloody hope they'll bring eveyone back with time travel.
Superheroes don't die. I thought that's the whole point. I don't even want to start on Wolverine...

I think the quantum realm is involved as I'm pretty sure they were in quantum suits in one of the trailers

I reckon the ones who died outwith the snap (Loki, Heimdall, Gamora) will stay snuffed. I think Iron Man will make it but retire, but Cap’s going to die. Definitely going to have something to do with the quantum realm.

They're going to be setting up for Phase 4 of the MCU so loads of the original team aren't going to make it or are going to get endings that make it clear their story is finished but with scope for the occasional cameo in future films. The next phase will be a handful of the current characters along with all new characters.

Quantum Realm will definitely feature and I want Nebula to get her revenge on Thanos for treating her like shit all those years so I hope she's involved in bringing him down. I know how it ends in the comics but I think they'll change it for the film.

I think Loki will stay dead and Tony will die.

Just want Thor to do some cool lightning shit. That's literally what I'm in it for.

I think Gamora will survive but only because there is another Guardians film.

I don’t want him to die but suspect Cap will; now that Peggy has died (from old age) and he has saved the world a few times the ‘job’ he was created for has been done.

I hope Ironman sails off in the sunset with Oepoer, he deserves it (with Happy captaining the boat).

I do hope Winter soldier survives and can’t wait to see Thor with stormbreaker.

I don't think Tony will die, I do think he will retire permanently as Iron Man and will then make cameo's in future films.

Robert Downey Jr is kind of the father of the MCU (not Marvel, obviously - Stan Lee RIP) and I imagine they would want to keep him available to make guest appearances in future films. In a similar way to how Nick Fury did/does.

I think Cap is toast, Loki will stay gone too sadly. I also am not sure about Rhodes (War Machine)

If you have a look at the chars who "survived" the Thantos "snap", they are mostly the "older" chars who have had a full set of films. As such, I would expect most of them to die/story end/whatever in order to bring back the younger "next generation" of heroes.

As such, I think there will be some perma-deaths, some "retiring" etc., but with the understanding that their stories are over.

If they go back in time to prevent Thanos getting the stones, then everyone that died will come back - including those pre snap.

The young boy from iron man 3 is in it - I reckon he’s Tony and peppers son that they take back in time to protect him.

One thing I’ve read is that when Dr Strange gave Thanos the time stone, it was glowing, which means it’s been activated, but I don’t know what that could mean or where it comes in.

I thought Cap and Ironman had been pretty clear they were done for the films. Doesn't Bucky pick up the shield after Cap (in the comics)? Make sense for them to die heroically.

Chris Evan's is definitely done. That doesnt nessacarily mean he will die. But I think he will.

I dont think Tony will die. But I do think he will retire, properly.

I've seen all of the MCU films except Hulk and I just haven't got the energy for Captain Marvel with a small baby. Can I skip it do you think? I can read a synopsis obviously.

Cap won't retire, it's not in his character to sit back while the world faces any kind of threat. He will always fight "for the little guy" while he lives.

Sadly this means I think he is doomed.

I would prefer Tony to retire. Pepper isn’t coming back though apparently? which makes me wonder he’s less likely to die - if he died she would surely be shown?

DD likes to go through everyone’s films and do it that way - Panther hasn’t made no 2, Spider-Man has only made 2, it probably is Caps turn!

Depends on how far back the timestone goes though doesn’t it as to whether Gamora comes back
