clicky facebook link

I mean, no offence to the mum's coz obviously they're happy with them and that's great! But my word... not my cup of tea

Each to their own

Bit mean to share it on a parenting site, those mums might be on here or know someone who is

wildbhoysmama · 29/03/2019 17:18

Is this for real?! What is the world coming to?

TeddyIsaHe · 29/03/2019 17:19

Yeah I mean if you’re going to decorate your frigging hospital bed then you deserve a bit of a ribbing!

Eurgh

TheCanyon · 29/03/2019 17:20

Holy shit

claracluck78 · 29/03/2019 17:20

Wow

Takes FB crap to a whole new level doesn't it?!

JellyBaby666 · 29/03/2019 17:21

Wow. What a waste of money!

TeddyIsaHe · 29/03/2019 17:21

Also I really, really despise parents that dress up their newborns like an accessory. They are tiny humans ffs, not some thing to parade around in your matching frilly outfits.

Diplodoci · 29/03/2019 17:23

When I was screaming with pain and nearly dying I couldn’t give a shiny shit what pattern was on my hospital sheets. Ditto post-birth when I was bleeding like a stuck pig and barely able to move. I certainly didn’t want ANY photos of me considering how terrible I looked after my two day labour, and fancy sheets wouldn’t have made any difference.

Kitsandkids · 29/03/2019 17:23

The last one in particular was ... interesting. I couldn’t be bothered with the faff of changing my hospital bed sheets personally.

Alsbals · 29/03/2019 17:24

Just. No.

gotmychocolateimgood · 29/03/2019 17:24

I bled all over my bed several times after giving birth. The nurses discreetly changed the sheets for me and bunged them in the NHS laundry hamper. No way would I want nice bedding on a hospital bed!

gotmychocolateimgood · 29/03/2019 17:27

The Italy baby outfit is a giant bow... Hope baby was sick on it immediately

thebear1 · 29/03/2019 17:27

Not my taste but I spent 5 nights in after ds1 and the blanket provided was thin and worn so my own cover would have been nice. Not these though.

Mrskeats · 29/03/2019 17:28

With teddy on this. Utterly tasteless

Siameasy · 29/03/2019 17:30

Eurgh no thanks. Tacky or what

No harm in jazzing things up. I'd have loved some bubbles and ducky in the birthing pool.

I can't believe how fabulous the mums all look.

Prequelle · 29/03/2019 17:39

But yeah I'm not into the baby fashion accessory thing. So tiny and new with that awful bow on!!

gotmychocolateimgood · 29/03/2019 17:41

Show me a baby in a plain white babygro any day.

LloydColeandtheCoconuts · 29/03/2019 17:43

I didn't even see the newborns until I read a couple of these posts and had another look Confused! It's not to my taste and a bit naff but if it floats their boat then good luck to them.

brizzlemint · 29/03/2019 17:44

YABVVVU. They might not be to your taste, they aren't to mine taste either, but to post on a busy internet forum for mothers to criticise them is absolutely appalling.

Ohnonotuagain · 29/03/2019 17:45

Not my cup of tea at all but as long as it doesn't cause more work for the hospital staff then I'll just laugh to myself and move on.

viques · 29/03/2019 17:45

Remember to buy several sets, nothing ruins the photo opportunity like a bit of blood, vomit or poo. I'm sure the hospital will be only too happy to arrange a personal laundry service so you get to take your own tasteless crap home with you all clean and freshly ironed.

BetterEatCheese · 29/03/2019 17:46

God they're so bad I like them!
