clicky facebook link

I mean, no offence to the mum's coz obviously they're happy with them and that's great! But my word... not my cup of tea

brizzlemint they were already put onto Facebook with permission from the mothers and have been shared 9200 times, commented on 3.5k times, so seen in the hundreds of thousands. Far more traffic than I could generate from this post Hmm

I am prepared to get flamed over this but never once have I looked at a tiny baby and thought, “ah, little Jim Graham, you really do suit your name”

Thanks for posting these OP, I have horrific PMT and this has made me laugh.

Grin

Oh my actual god. Honestly what the hell next?!!!!

Hersheys · 29/03/2019 18:11

This has got to be in America!

brizzlemint · 29/03/2019 18:11

Perhaps they were but why draw more attention to them by posting them here?

Prequelle · 29/03/2019 18:12

brizzlemints because I wanted to see what people thought. Thanks for your insight.

Crunchymum · 29/03/2019 18:14

@Hersheys

My thoughts exactly.

You don't get your own room here....well not for long enough to do your make up and change your bedding.

Dillydallyingthrough · 29/03/2019 18:18

Not my taste but how do they all look so well?? They look better than me on a normal day!

Prequelle · 29/03/2019 18:21

They look great don't they.

Maybe they had an epidural and had their hair and makeup done in the early stages Grin

Jeezy fucking peeps!! 😮
Why do some people feel the need to such a lot of crap nowadays!!

CookPassBabtridge · 29/03/2019 18:22

If they're the type to think to do this and buy bedding then they're probably the type to get a makeup artist/hairdresser to come into the hospital!

SymbollocksInteractionism · 29/03/2019 18:22

own such a lot of crap

WinkysTeatowel · 29/03/2019 18:27

OMG! Those are horrendous, I don't think I put on any make up for at least 2 weeks!

Eminybob · 29/03/2019 18:42

They must have had hairdressers and make up artists in! Their heads look like they’re about to get married.

Prequelle · 29/03/2019 19:02

I wish I had that much motivation. I'm only 8+6 and I can barely be fucked to put mascara on.

Very American, I have a family member in the US who insisted on sticking one of those giant bows on her newborn's head

ewenice · 29/03/2019 19:21

I had both my children overseas - all the local women brought their own bedding in - quilts, pillow cases, sheets etc. They also put rugs on the floor. Cheered the place up. Each to their own.

Prequelle · 29/03/2019 19:24

I like the idea of taking their own things to brighten things up a bit. Just not like this Grin. When my mum goes into hospital she takes this pathwork quilt thing. Hospital blankets are rubbish, they don't get warmer the more you add they just get heavier (I don't know how this works but it's a legit thing)

DobbyTheHouseElk · 29/03/2019 19:29

Those look like private rooms. Got to be USA thing. Can’t see many UK hospitals allowing you to have all that crap in the labour room, certainly no room on any postnatal ward ive ever seen.

RedPanda2 · 29/03/2019 19:32

Crrrrrringe!!!
Preston Tyler vom

TheGardenFairy · 29/03/2019 19:38

Not for me. I guess there will be people who cant wait to buy this crap stuff tho. Because, you know, mum and baby bond better if they wear matching outfits...Hmm

Pinkyponkcustard · 29/03/2019 19:43

Are the babies really called “Julie Dream” and “Duncan”

ILoveMaxiBondi · 29/03/2019 19:47

Flipping hell! This can’t be NHs hospital. Your arse barely touches the bed before they have you discharged. Who has time to change bedsheets?

BlueMerchant · 29/03/2019 19:50

I laughed. They look pathetic.
