Been talking to a guy for a month.
Organised a date next week.
He text today asking if I fancied lunch a cocktail down the sea front.
I have zero plans,it's a lovely day so I said yes.
I never do things like this
Do I go?
I've told him I'm dressed casual and he said so we are going to the beach ..ha
Or do I stick to the original day next week?

Yes go! I went on an ad hoc date just over 4 years ago...we are now renovating our house and expecting our first baby! Sometimes it's good to be spontaneous!

Go and have fun op...but don't accept a car ride home or have the guy walk you home or anything like that...not until you actually know him more time...but in public, in a busy place is fine...just don't drink, and keep an eye on your drinks (so nothing is slipped in)...if you suddenly feel unwell after your drink, tell the staff, don't let the guy take you home...
