Things that have seriously irritated me today even more than normal as sleep deprived :-

1. DD not having her listening ears on (No change there then)

1. People who post on social media wishing friends or family a happy birthday with tons pictures of themselves with that said person when all they’re doing is posting pics of them looking fab and are saying “look at me aren’t I gorgeous” get over yourselves.
2. Tailgaters (No change there then) I want to get a big flashing red sign that says ‘fuck off twat’ installed in the back of my car or better yet get out and punch the bastard!
3. Negative depressing people who have nothing but negative things to say! I have to visit this person regularly and it's sooooo draining. Even things going on with other people that don't effect them directly are a complete disaster!

Having a tough day at work (line manager not getting back to me on some time sensitive work) and colleague’s comments being “well x signed mine off without putting in the effort you did” and “oh x is online they’ve just responded to my work. I mean I’m not saying I’m their favourite but...”

Laughing but not at you - I just feel and sense your total frustration and thought it might help to offer a few ideas of how I handle said irritations.

1. DD not listening. Unplug the TV / router / whatever it is they're too busy with to listen and then make sure they stay unplugged unless and until thine ears doth hear.

1. Social media attention whores. I have long since just got rid of most of mine and the ones I still have are set to only see posts and updates and shit from the select few people I like. The rest I just don't even see they could be dead for all I know but someone will have to come and tell me directly if that happens.

1. Tailgaters / dicks on the road. Slow riiiigght down and just keep on crawling and gently touching the brakes so your lights flicker on and off. They will either have to drop back or overtake you and - assuming they will overtake at speed and give you the finger, you just wave and smile like "HIYA!! HI!!!"

1. See 2. Just get rid of the negative people and those that drag you down and sap your soul. I don't allow for them anymore and just cut them the fuck out and crack on with what I enjoy instead.

Having a colonoscopy tomorrow am ,2 sachets of picolax taken and nothing but a stonking headache .The blurb was you won't be off the loo ,well I must have a cast iron colon as it's having no effect

After supporting my DB through a break up for the past 3 months he's decided to move away but hasn't bothered to tell me. Just feel like I've been used & now he doesn't need support/a shoulder to cry on I can fuck off. I only know he's going cos my DM text me to let me know

I have been ghosted by the guy I was dating (for those of you not au fait with online dating jargon, it means he just stopped getting in touch for no reason). I am rather gutted, and expected better of him than that. The worst is not knowing why; no explanation, nothing. I can't imagine ever treating someone like that. And although the rational part of me knows he's an arse and I should move on, I still think about him. It's just so hurtful, confusing and disappointing. Oh, and it's been a week, just in case anyone thinks I get like this after 2 hours of not hearing from him

Exh being a twat

DS started vomiting at 8.30pm on Wednesday and he's still going;

DH has come home from work today, taken to bed and started hurling;

The house is cold because it's really exposed and the wind is battering us, but I can't leave DS for long enough to get wood in and light the fire;

I feel sick as a dog though haven't hurled yet;

Ddog is whining about his dinner (he is fed at 5);

We have no spare room so I am going to have to try and sleep on the sofa tonight.

I want to cry. We

Twatty drivers who seem to be out in full force today.

Hospital department who can't be bothered to phone me re: some medication I need.

Car park at said hospital being the worst designed car park I've ever known.

Waiting for 1 hour and 20 mins at said hospital, for said medication.

Having to phone my mom to pick up DS from nursery as I was at said hospital for so long.

The spicy chicken snack wrap I brought from McDonalds for lunch being vile.

This cough that won't disappear.

My shoes that have rubbed my little toe today and now it's really sore.

The fact that I don't want to cook tonight but we had pizza last night so have to make some kind of effort.

The fact that it's forecast torrential rain for tomorrow.

I'm sure there's more but I'm fed up thinking of them now.

Oooh I have one!

Daughter and I both do trick-training and different types of routines and dick about with dogs to music. We were asked last year if we'd be interested to take part in this summer's show and do a display in the main showground and said course no problem.

Friend involved in running the show asked if we were any nearer a planned routine / display and I said we had a full thing already using both dogs set to the soundtrack from "Believe" the old Seaworld shows.

(Before anyone shits themselves we are both anti-captivity and actively help various organisations and groups)

The finale isn't quite as impressive as the show's "Rocket hop" manoeuvre but we have both dogs able to balance a piece of toast perfectly on their bonce and on cue they launch said toast clean up in the air and catch it on the way back down.

With a bit of practise we could use a hamster or guinea pig from the smaller animal classes and have the dogs punt them 20ft in the air and land safely on a large bed of lettuce

Endless trudging through mud to get to the lambing shed and we've only just started
Washing out water and feed buckets
Looking at sheep's bums for signs of lambing
Ferrying wet silage to the sheds
Endless bloody rain and sleet
Still musn't grumble

DH saying it was 'his turn' for a lie in morning. I do all night feeds for our newborn. Occasionally baby wakes him up and he acts like somehow we are both as tired as each other. It drives me up the wall. Yes I'm sure he is tired but I'M TIREDER.

Usually, I have a full list of shit to moan about.

But today I think People have pushed me that far I've gone loopy.

I just said fuck it, fuck work, fuck the annoying twat sitting next to me reporting the weather forecast for the foreseeable future. Fuck Everything, Because you know why? its Friday! and I have a massive bottle of Prosecco waiting in my fridge and the husband is out tonight too! so no moaning from him either!

Yay to prosecco and Netflix and fresh PJs!

I am actually smiling and going to be skipping out of work today.

My father (he has mixed dementia) has chosen today as the day when he refuses to eat anything. Today we had to go to hospital for a pre-op assessment for him - he has been checked out and there's nothing wrong with him (other than the usual). On our return home, he is convinced that his bed has changed colour in our absence. He is still refusing to eat, or even drink a (Complan) milkshake. Argh. I am smiling and joking with him and trying to coax him, but getting nowhere. Sometimes this caring lark (I do it 24/7) can be frustrating!

I've got a monk on because Ocado have lost all my frozen food!

I’ve been in a foul mood for a few days.... found out why today when my second period in three weeks arrived! Previous one was nearly three weeks late.... hello menopause

@ThreeBagsFullofWool the irony is not lost on my I can assure you. I suppose there is a big difference to blowing off some steam and being negative ALL the TIME.

@Parly thank you that's so sweet I wish I could cut the said person out of my life but it's my FIL and he needs regular check ins it's such a shame I get why he's so negative and has an excuse some of he time but when we try to talk about anything happier it's always ignored and the negative stuff comes out again

So my top tip for getting happier is to watch Afterlife on Netflix it's brilliantly clever but sad and then gets you thinking positively at the end of the 6 episodes.

Brexit. It's giving me a headache and I'm getting rather fed up of it. When will they just stop?? (Dh's job directly threatened by it)

DD1 being sick once, rightly so triggering the 48 hour rule, being the picture of health until the 46th hour when she barfs again, triggering another 48 hours. She is of course the picture of health again and we have roughly 26 hours left to go. Gosh I love my kids but even I’m pulling my hair out.

A Mum of one of DDs friends saying on the class group WhatsApp that her little princess has been sick several times today but she’ll still be fine to go to the party for their classmate on Sunday regardless of whether she’s compelted the 48 hours or not.

I just don’t know why I’ve bothered.
