Things that have seriously irritated me today even more than normal as sleep deprived :-

  1. DD not having her listening ears on (No change there then)
  1. People who post on social media wishing friends or family a happy birthday with tons pictures of themselves with that said person when all they’re doing is posting pics of them looking fab and are saying “look at me aren’t I gorgeous” get over yourselves.
  2. Tailgaters (No change there then) I want to get a big flashing red sign that says ‘fuck off twat’ installed in the back of my car or better yet get out and punch the bastard!
  3. Negative depressing people who have nothing but negative things to say! I have to visit this person regularly and it's sooooo draining. Even things going on with other people that don't effect them directly are a complete disaster!

Arrrggghhh! Where is the wine!! Right your turn.....

Dh rabbiting on about crap and not getting hints to stfu while I’m trying to read mumsnet 😁

Sophisticatedsarcasm · 17/03/2019 22:25
  • tomorrow is Monday and I don’t feel as though I’ve had enough sleep over the weekend to get through the week...
  • dd has a horrible cough which has kept me up most of last night.
  • I turn 31 in 2 weeks
CardsforKittens · 17/03/2019 23:06

I had to drive for four hours in an unfamiliar car with a passenger who did not stop talking at all for the entire journey - mostly about TV programmes that I’ve never seen, because I have no interest in them.

Amibeingnaive · 17/03/2019 23:45

DH has smashed the wing mirror, and after attempting the line of argument 'it's weird because I just backed it out of the driveway in the direction you parked it in' and being told there was no way I was liable, it seems he still expects me to get it fixed 'because you have more time'. I work four days a week, he works five. I am also heavily involved with the PTA, do all the life admin, the grocery shopping, the majority of the chores, all pet care, house maintenance etc etc, so those 6 free hours on a Friday don't go that fucking far actually.

Amibeingnaive · 17/03/2019 23:49

But having read this thread, I really have nothing to moan about, so I'll count my blessings and take the sodding car to the garage.

Thankfuckitsfriday1 · 17/03/2019 23:50

Cuntish drivers who park so far into the pavement i can’t get past with my SEn child in the buggy and have to walk into the busy fucking road and back track. It happened 4 times on a very short walk home.

Just got into bed to find my toddler in it... and he’s had an accident where i sleep. Finally crawling into bed turned into cleaning up piss at nearly midnight.

Both kids have chicken pox

U2HasTheEdge · 18/03/2019 00:00

I am 10 days late for my period (not pregnant!) but still have PMT and look like a balloon

I have an essay to finish by Friday. I have two days off this week to do it but I've been working on it for a couple of weeks and not getting very far.

I am on roaccutane- my eyes are still dry and sore in the corners and my lips sting

My back bloody hurts

My anxiety is shit

DH is talking about some carving which admittedly is amazing but I have heard enough now

I am tired and stressed

Basically, I am just a miserable shit right now!

SweetMarmalade · 18/03/2019 00:06

Ds has had massive homework angst today! One tiny sheet of German to revise! I can’t ever remember being this stubborn about homework! Dp was working (lucky) so I (as usual) dealt with the fall out!

Missing a close friend who died 18 months ago. We would have chatted and laughed about the homework drama. My grief for her comes and goes in waves.

It’s Sunday.

SweetMarmalade · 18/03/2019 00:07

Well actually it’s Monday! Shit!

FredaFox · 18/03/2019 07:34

I'm from Stoke. Cob on is said around there.

CountArthursgroupie · 18/03/2019 08:36

Electric blanket and living room fire both broke this week, (no central heating), can't afford to replace either and the temperature has plummeted. Of course it has. Sad

WildUnknown · 18/03/2019 11:53

I recently discovered that a colleague had told another colleague there is friction between us

Aye mate, there's friction, if by friction you don't mean it's actual definition of the word and you in fact mean :

"I was a massive cunt to her for months over something minor I falsely believed her to have done, and she was baffled - it became so bad I got disciplined, and though other colleague is civil to me, she has no respect for me now and it's entirely my own fault"

But yes.... we have "friction" apparently Hmm

Bartlebysleftshoe · 18/03/2019 12:17

I haven't got any real reason for a cob on, just life stuff that is irritating me.............

Got up late - rush for work. Couldn't find clean work trousers.

Still struggling with a cold that I have had for 2 weeks, ears are blocked and a sore throat that wakes me up at night, no energy constantly exhausted.

DP has depression, yesterday was hard.

Over the weekend there has been a cock up over car seats and I have an extra one which needs swapping at some point with my DSis.

Office milk has turned but no on told me so first cup of coffee was shite. I was looking forward to it all morning.

Was out of the office all day Friday at meetings, my desk this morning is disappearing under a pile of documents and a delivery which has turned up in loads of boxes for one of my projects.

Brexit/ Whoever the strident man is on Jeremy Vine at the moment Angry

Strangely feel a bit better writing it all down.

TheDogIsMyFave · 18/03/2019 12:38

I made myself a really nice lunch for work AND THEN LEFT IT IN THE FRIDGE AT HOME AND ONLY JUST REALISED.

lightlypoached · 18/03/2019 13:51

@wolf . drink more water. lots of it. and my recommendation is use sudocrem as adult nappy rash is a thing when using picolax (I have regular colonoscopies - such fun Grin)

oh, and never trust a fart when on Picolax. never.

Scorpvenus1 · 25/03/2019 11:19

Mines not too bad today

Mines because work make out they really needed me in and then get here to do nothing as there is nothing to do lol.

Its so boring :(

Sonny23 · 25/03/2019 11:24

I'm pissed off because my boyfriend has cheesecake in his fridge and I don't. He brought it for us to have at the weekend and we forgot about it.

I'm now going to sneak over whilst he is at work and eat the cheesecake.

Janetizzy30 · 25/03/2019 19:06

My husband and kids have been ill wilt quite a nasty cold. They have now recovered and so the cob on begins

DH hasn't lifted a finger in housework and also has been out on his own where as I have to take kids

Nursery have told us today instead of in newsletter or by mouth last week that it is Easter holidays for our youngest

Being exhausted after a week of dealing with dogs, I'll kids and DH housework and trying to do exercise and slimming world, today I came up for a nap.... have been disturbed several times. I rarely nap so it is a one off which probably won't be repeated for a good few weeks.

Have taken the youngest out so much this week and then DH complains when he wants a cuddle with daddy that he is being clingy Confused

Money is tight had a few bills and I'm getting blame though he spends more than me.

Oh also 3rd DS (autism/adhd) has had the best first term at his high school (specific for his issues) and today has come home chirpy as usual but then had a phone call accusing me of not giving him his meds and him attacking a teacher Hmm so had enough of this last week

puppy23 · 25/03/2019 20:38

DHs brother is staying over tonight (& maybe tomorrow night too). I wasn't ask, but then I couldn't really have said no as he's come up for a family funeral tomorrow. Still, I hate having house guests and he's said the odd thing thats irked me.

On the bright side, they've both gone out for the evening and I've got old bake off episodes on netflix

Neverender · 25/03/2019 20:40

My DH told me he had "sorted my tyres". He hadn't and has put me and DD at risk as he just reset the alert. Twat.

SimonJT · 25/03/2019 20:42

My little one is ill with D&V, so a pretty crap day, ex partner gets home from work and complains that I haven’t ironed him a shirt to go to work in tomorrow.

BartonHollow · 27/03/2019 12:59

Didn't want to start a separate thread but I've got a cob on today because my sister, either doesn't consider the disparity in our incomes and is tone deaf about it, or absolutely does and is just fucking mocking me. Very likely the latter, bitch.

HollaHolla · 27/03/2019 13:14

I’ve got a cob on, as I’ve had my third hospital admission (yep separate hospitals) of the year, due to a spinal issue. I had my second surgery on Friday, and now I just want to go home. 😫

I’m incredibly thankful for the NHS, and the gifted surgeons (and the whole teams, of course) who have saved my continence, and ability to use my left foot. I do have a cob on for the infection which caused this second surgery, the lack of sleep due to beeping, buzzing, whirring and talking, and the bloody constipation 💩 which is stopping me being released!
