NC as I know how sad it is that I have started a thread on this and expect to get flamed
Surely Mrs Cooper despite trying to look absolutely thrilled about it at the oscars can't be happy. Even if it's all for media attention it just seems so disrespectful to her.

I just thought the whole thing was creepy

If I looked anything like Irina shayk I wouldnt feel intimidated or humiliated by any other woman. Ok, Lady Gaga is lovely and very talented but not really competition to Irina - who is also the mother of Bradley's daughter - imo.

From my experience of affluent/glamorous Russian women, they are very good at maintaining appearances in public, but behind closed doors it’s often a very different story

This whole crap is because two actors looked lovingly at each other during a performance in which they're supposed to be in love? Something like that? WTF

You only need to look at Jude Law (Sienna Miller), Ashley Cole (Cheryl) or Gavin Rossdale (Gwen Steffani) to see that they can, and do, cheat with less attractive women. Or Brad Pitt with Jennifer/Angelina. We don't know Bradley Cooper's wife and she may have the personality of a housebrick or be an absolute bitch. So im confused by anyone who says he wouldnt cheat or she wont feel jealous because of her looks. Men arent really using logic when theyre cheating.

If I was the wife I would feel a bit humiliated at all the headlines and the gossiping and comments. Especially by other celebrities.

Not that I have any opinion on this specific tabloid gossip, but just to point out that affairs rarely have anything to do with looks. Some of the most beautiful women in the world have been cheated on.

I always thought his partners were beards. It’s the same bunch who have been with Clooney, Dicaprio etc.

@NunoGoncalves I would say it's a lot more than just loving looks. Its frequency and constantly gushing about each other. Gaga has also just split with her fiancé.
I agree it is creepy I especially find him creepy now.

They have clearly developed a strong emotional bond and AT THE VERY LEAST have some kind of Emotional Affair or Limerence going on.

It has long been rumoured that BC is in the closet and he was rumoured to have been fully involved with a well known actor at one time

As I said on a thread on Oscars Night I find it quite likely he is bi.

In any event whether anything beyond a "severe case of the feelings" happened with Lady Gaga if he leaves Irina now he'll be written off as a cheater regardless of whether he has cheated.

I find it so reductive and poisonous that "he wouldn't have cheated with Gaga because she is less pretty"

Men cheat with women objectively less pretty than their SO's All The Time

And there are plenty of men who would find Gaga more attractive it's just a matter of taste

And yes, I do feel terribly sorry for Irina she is the mother of his child and it has now become a very public conversation.

I’ve become obsessed with this since watching the Oscars! Hadn’t really heard of Bradley Cooper before and know very little about Lady Gaga. Now I can’t get enough of watching and reading little snippets about it all. Would love to be a fly on the wall in their house.

Men cheat for all sorts of reasons not just for a better looking partner.

They are gushing about each other and acting all lovey dicey becasue it creates buzz, more people watching the film and more likely to win awards etc. They probably won’t ever see each other again after this round of awards ceremonies is finished!!

Also there’s been lots of rumours that Bradley is gay so possibly his girlfriend has more to worry about than gaga!!

Very true that some extremely stunning women have been cheated on and often by less attractive men with similar ow. However, IS has already demonstrated previously how elegantly she can detach and move on if necessary as with Cristiano Ronaldo previously.

FWIW, I think this is just acting in the main by BC and LG although I do think LG has a little crush. I think IS knows this and is quietly finding all this a little amusing. I think it is more embarrassing for LG with everyone saying she is besotted by BC.

I noticed he looked over in Irina’s direction after the song before he looked at Lady Gaga. I think they’re fine. It would be frustrating seeing all the fans comments on social media though.
I think they were just playing their characters one last time.

Oh god, my DH works with actors. Some of them behave the same as Gaga/Cooper, some of them are more respectful. They excuse it by saying they are 'just friends' and they love ALL their friends. It's just strange that they don't gush all over ALL their friends.

Ronaldo allegedly cheated on Irina repeatedly during their 5 year relationship and after they split, she said how insecure she felt during that time. So all this press about Gaga and Bradley Cooper and how they must be f*cking must be hard for Irina to take. I don't know if she's a nice person or if she's a bitch or anywhere in between but you have to feel sorry for her at the moment. And if it's true that she's Bradley's beard (just as it was rumoured that she was Ronaldo's beard), I hope she's getting paid a hell of a lot of money for it!

@FairNotFair came here to say exactly this. Irina is a known beard. First for Ronaldo (hello, very obviously in the closet) and now for Bradley. Rumours have been swirling since Ronaldo's days that she's paid a hefty sum for it.
