She has mahoosive knockers..
Last measured at 30D and a teeny body size 6. She is spilling out of m&s teen braa
Where should I take her?? Bravissimo?
Help!

Order from brastop online

sunnysunchild · 13/02/2019 13:18

She says underwires are too frilly, lacy, sexy etc... struggling!! Also no idea about proper sizing..

Seline · 13/02/2019 13:20

No. Wireless bras are pointless buy her a proper one!

anniehm · 13/02/2019 13:21

Take her to M&S and get her fitted - their angel range have under wire but in teen friendly materials.

unicornsarereal1 · 13/02/2019 13:22

Did you measure her or did m&s?

I would suggest you nesting her using the boob or bust method and then looking online at boux avenue, lingerie outlet

Boob or bust Facebook page is very helpful and lists good places for bras

ImBattlingOn · 13/02/2019 13:22

DO NOT TAKE HER TO M&S FOR A FITTING

poorbuthappy · 13/02/2019 13:22

Don't take her to M&S. They'll tell you she's a 36D regardless.

Get on Boob or Bust website and show her how to measure, then order from Brastop.

sunnysunchild · 13/02/2019 13:23

M&S Measured last time.
Shes mortified by whole thing..

Hi there all,

Thanks for all your reports.

We've had a look behind the scenes and whilst as always, we can't vouch for anyone OP does seem to be a genuine Mumsnetter and has been around for a while.

HopeMumsnet · 13/02/2019 13:24

Hi all,
We live in suspicious times, so thanks to all the people who queried that this person might be a troll. As far as we can see that's not the case - just an ordinary mother who should go to that shop that she mentioned in the OP because those women can fit anyone.

handmademitlove · 13/02/2019 13:25

For sizing try boob or bust. My dd15 hates 'fussy' bras so i find plain t shirt bras the best option.

sunnysunchild · 13/02/2019 13:25

I'm not a troll :(

OP posts:
HopeMumsnet · 13/02/2019 13:25

oops, cross post Anya! glad we came to the same conclusion!

HopeMumsnet · 13/02/2019 13:27

just go to that shop you mentioned, OP, they'll see you reet! Smile

sunnysunchild · 13/02/2019 13:28

Now I'm mortified that you all think I'm a weirdo.
No quite sure what I said that was so alarming

OP posts:
PrismGuile · 13/02/2019 13:29

I'm a 28DD and find Passionata are good for non fussy underworld bras x

Moanger · 13/02/2019 13:29

Have you tried the Freya bras? I have a small back and big boobs but I don’t like the ‘sexy’ bras. They are a bit pricey though. I had underwires from age 12 as I sprouted early and was very sporty. It was really embarrassing at school.

PrismGuile · 13/02/2019 13:30

Agreed Freya is also good!

bigKiteFlying · 13/02/2019 13:30

I'd go to Bravissimo - get sized correctly and see what they can suggest style wise and then look ar Bra stop on-line for cheaper options.

I know when I finally got underwired bras it was so much better - I think you just have to be very sure the fitting is correct with possibly still gowing breasts.

I've had very bad experiences with M & S so would steer clear of them.

Lifecraft · 13/02/2019 13:32

No quite sure what I said that was so alarming

The combination of "DD13" and "knockers" is enough to sent the loony half of MN into a tailspin. Ignore, it's not you, it's them.

ememem84 · 13/02/2019 13:32

Calvin Klein T-shirt bras are great. Soft. Comfortable. Get ye to John Lewis or some dept store (not M&S) and get measured.

BrexitIsComing · 13/02/2019 13:33

Absolutely no to M&S. Just adding my voice to the chorus. They won't have anything that fits her anyway.

DawgLover · 13/02/2019 13:33

Take her to bravissimo to get measured and to try on some different styles. They can be expensive, but brastop stocks the same brands usually with a bit of a discount.

never go to m&s

In terms of teen appropriate, panache do some plain non padded bras that are teen friendly

TestingTestingWonTooFree · 13/02/2019 13:34

Size 6 doesn’t sound like a 30 back. Bravissimo are good at fitting, they’re not obsessed with tape measures.

Comefromaway · 13/02/2019 13:36

I don't like your use of "mahoosive knowckers" top describe your poor dd. 30 D isn't "mahoosive" its fairly norml. (dd was a 28D and a size 6/8 at age 14.

John Lewis do nice, supportive teen bras in a range of sizes. M & S are awful.
