to dislike dp's tattoos

My dp had a couple of tattoos when we met Not my favourite things unless very well done which they weren't.Recently he has had a few new ones and I hate them and he is planning more.Not sure what has started this mid life crisis and I know its his business but I really don't like them and am quite surprised how much

No he is planning more!!!!!!!!!!He has had 3 or 4 recently and seems to have the bug!Says he has always liked them which is contrary to what he told me years ago.I am going to let it be now as it is really getting to me and I normally don't react like this.

ten is quite a lot, it can look too much, epesiclaly if they are all random styles unconnected with each other

wont he compromise? he has had some done can he not be happy with the ones he has, and to keep you happy?

He had a few small ones on each upper arm.He has had one side completely covered to make one big design and the other is as it was.I can see why he wants them to match tbh but I just don't like them!Although I need to chill about it now

i think if you dont like them then he should probably compromise and say leave it as it is now

I am letting it go I can't be bothered if its the worst he ever does I'm lucky!I am also spoilt princessa at times which is to say the least.Will have to try and get down with the band

I am!Not often but dp and ds do let me get away with murder.Dp had to run me all over brighton this morning for various medical things and he never moans!I feel bad about that as he looked after me no matter what when i was ill and I am losing it about a tattoo!Still don't like them but love him so what can I do?

well medical problems are hardly your fault are they?

It seems that in the end you may have no choice but for what it's worth I do not think that you are being unreasonable.

I guess you will just have to get on with it and let him get them, seems a bit unfair on his part though, you do have to look at them.

He has just come in and said he isn't getting any more.I think me saying he is having a mid life crisis has got to him!I am going to keep quiet now At least there will be no more!

noddyholder, i got my first tattoo march, i couldnt believe the buzz it gave me an i would deffinatly have more!

Mine is in descreet place (ankle) so it can be shown or covered.
also i chose mine to be meaningfull so my butterfly is for my beautifull dd who was boen last year will get a cherub soon for my nan as i was nanny's little cherub etc have also been thinking of getting dd's name on inside of my forearm.
Have you explained to him you not liking them? has he got meaningffull tattos?

They mean nothing apart from he still feels a bit rock and roll.Probably best they are meaningless as I am a cynical old bat and that would probably rile me more I am keeping my tiara on for today i don't get as much chance to wear it as I would like so am milking it.I've changed out of the meringue dress though so am learning to give a bit!Thanks for listening xx

not being unreasonable in not liking them and letting him know,but end of the day nothing you can really do about it.
i got a tattoo when i was younger and still like it but if my missus got one she'd be out the door as i can't stand them on women.i think they look common and trashy.

keep your glass slippers on too, and dont forget to get the pea out of your bed!
