I have no idea if I'm imagining things but I'm panicked.

DS is almost 2. He hasn't been sleeping properly for a week, he's knackered, has had a cold/bad chest and I think has been teething.

For the past 15 minutes he's been looking a bit drowsy, has slightly purple cheeks, and has been going through about 30 sec phases on and off where he's shaking and breathing faster.

Do I ring 999?

He's okay now, thank you everyone for kind messages!!!! it was a throat infection in the end - brought his temp up to almost 41 really suddenly which caused his body to react strange. Just keeping him regularly dosed on paracetamol and he's back to his usual self!

It sounds like he had a febrile convulsion then

Glad to hear he's ok, febrile convulsions are scary. Hope he makes a speedy recovery now. Hopefully you can have a rest now too, must have been very stressful!
