To ask how you eat your creme egg....

Having a discussion with my 14 year old sister earlier about the best way to eat a creme egg.... so I’m intrigued fellow mumsnetters how do you eat yours? (Those who like them obviously)

I usually bite the top off, lick the inside, eat the walls around until the bottom where I lick the remainder filling and then eat the choc after 😂😂

I eat them the same way as you - bite off the top, lick it out, then eat the sides. I don't eat them in company though!

Can't bring myself to eat one. They have been awful since they strayed from the original.

Bite off the top and scoop out the 'yolk' with my finger and eat it!

With a microscope, they are soooo much smaller

Unwrap it, look at it like then chuck it in the fucking bin. They're disgusting.

Bite the top off. Lick the inside and I usually get my tongue stuck and slurp. Then eat the rest of the chocolate. Though, I didn’t have any last year as everyone was unwrapping them to fing a white one, and I’m not eating an egg once someone’s put their germs all over it 🤢

Never too early for creme eggs...shame about the chocolate but the fondant has actually improved and tastes very like how it use too. I wouldn’t turn one down and eat mine the same as you op. I wish they would sell the white ones to try as they’re impossible to win!

Chuck it in the bin and wish it was still made with proper Dairy Milk chocolate. Or not buy it at all because they’re running this stupid “white egg” promo again so mingers are scratching the foil off the eggs in the shops with their filthy nails and contaminating them all.

Carefully unwrap from wrapper. Put creme egg in compost bin and wrapper in regular bin. Creme eggs are gross but they probably compost well.

Scrape off the top choc with my teeth. Lick the filling out. Eat the rest of the choc...
