oh sorry expat its just that you posted halfway though something else tis late and it confused me

mummylin2495 · 28/07/2007 00:56

talk to him about it when he is sober! You must of both had your reasons why you didnt want to marry and i can see you would wonder what has changed for him that he now wants to.You obviously arent sure,so take your time and decide what is right for you.Ten years is a long time so you obviously care for each other [and the children].

sparklesandwine · 28/07/2007 00:57

yes mummylin we do love each other very much and our children apart from my earlier rant we are pretty happy actually - i think your right i need to sleep and talk to dp tomorrow find out what has changed

CatIsSleepy · 28/07/2007 12:33

CatIsSleepy · 28/07/2007 12:36

am so hoping the latter is true jh....

jaynehater · 28/07/2007 12:42

shall we start our campaign for bridesmaids now?

sparklesandwine · 28/07/2007 12:54

mummylin, jh, cat et al DP is still alive (and here) we have had a good talk still not sure on the old marriage thing but he said he its not an issue if i don't want to he'd just wait and see how i feel - i don't know maybe - but still i have explained in depth how he made me (and the dc) feel and he has obviously apologised and has prmoised faithfully to be more considerate. Thats all i can ask for at the minute i think i just hope he takes on board what i have said, which i think he will

Thank you ALL for your help and paitence with me and my ranting last night its so nice to have such lovely and caring people to talk to

jaynehater · 28/07/2007 12:55

Sparkles, if and when you get here, I have set up a short-cut for you.

In my opinion, you will either need :

one of these, or a new one of these, but most definitely, without shadow of a doubt, some of them

hope alls well, and that the radio silence isn't down to a sudden trip to Gretna......

Or A&E

sauce · 28/07/2007 12:56

Hee!Hee! I was just thinking about that. Look how many I've killed today! Wheeeeeee!

CatIsSleepy · 28/07/2007 12:57

oh I'm glad you've had a good talk...
that's good.
are you not at all keen on getting married then?
(will I find out if I scroll down a bit?!)

sparklesandwine · 28/07/2007 12:57

lol JH

CatIsSleepy · 28/07/2007 12:57

i keep forgetting this is still a thread about killing threads! (nominally at least...)

jaynehater · 28/07/2007 12:58

Sparkles it took me nearly 15 minutes to set up those links, I'm not very good at it. Type slower next time, there could be some poor thick out there trying to work out how many brackets she's up to......

Good news you've had a rational chat about it though, hope you're feeling more settled.

sauce · 28/07/2007 13:00

Fine, ignore me![raspberry blowing emoticon] At least I stick to the subject.

jaynehater · 28/07/2007 13:03
sparklesandwine · 28/07/2007 13:04

sorry sauce

its doesn't really appear to be about killing threads anymore we kind of moved on
