I havent been for a curry (indian one at least) for over two years (it occured to me the other day) so i am going for one tonight. So i am excited, a)at the thought of a lovely rich lamb bhuna with veg rice and popadums (i love lime pickle) and b)cos i am getting DP to myself for a few hours.

Oh and actually, this is all the thought of someone here who started a thread about asking to get creamy curries made hotter! Ive not been able to stop thinking about curries since.

So tell me, if you were going to go for a curry (any country of origin ) what would you have?

So now of course I'm bumping it

Anyway - enjoy...

meandmyflyingmachine · 29/06/2007 16:25

Foolish woman!

lol...dh and I went for an Indian with some friends a few weeks ago, and I haven't been out in over a year...so, it was great and I was so excited, too, so, I know where you are coming from!
It was the lethal day where I had my first ever Chicken Badamas (soemthing along those lines) and I have fallen in love wiht it...which is bad news to my waistline, lol...as it has Peanut Butter in it, so is probably mega calorific, lol!

Radley · 29/06/2007 16:31

Chicken Tikka Masala, Lemon Rice, Poppadoms and Naan bread

Which a starter to share of

Bombay potatoes, Onion Bhaji, Mushroom Pakora and Chicken Pakora, with lashings of mint yogurt.

Mercy · 29/06/2007 16:32

2 years without a curry

lucyellensmum · 29/06/2007 16:32

We do have an amazing Thai resturant around here but it is expensive and its not curry is it, well not in the turn up at 5 to eleven slightly wobbly and still be given a table type curry We keep that one for special occaions. Best thai i ever had was in switzerland - don't i sound cosmopolitan now - that was on the last holiday i probably will have for the next 10 years though.
