I havent been for a curry (indian one at least) for over two years (it occured to me the other day) so i am going for one tonight. So i am excited, a)at the thought of a lovely rich lamb bhuna with veg rice and popadums (i love lime pickle) and b)cos i am getting DP to myself for a few hours.

Oh and actually, this is all the thought of someone here who started a thread about asking to get creamy curries made hotter! Ive not been able to stop thinking about curries since.

YANBU. Me and dh went out for a curry on Monday, the first time we'd been out since Xmas. We were ridiculously giddy and insisted on regaling the waiting staff with tales of 'we used to come in here all the time until we had children...'

i actually hvant sorted out child care yet, just rang my mum ( i made noises yesterday that i might like to go out either tonight or tomorrow) and she is not in - oh dear, im getting nervous now

Lucy, I'm on my way - For a woman in need of curry, no problem.

lucyellensmum · 29/06/2007 17:59

panic over! my mother can babysit - phew. Now DP has gone out so hope he will be back in time, else i might be having something else on a skewer tonight instead of a kebab. Hmm, thats greek though isnt it?

How was it? Hope you had a good time.
I was so pelased wiht the Indian we went too as the food totally exactly tasted as delicious and just as I imagined when reading the menu, you hvae it so often that things sound better written down then they actually then taste...

lucyellensmum · 30/06/2007 17:00

3andnomore, well ours was sort of like it sounds lovely on the menu and then it was disappointing mine was ok DPs was a bit rubbish tbh. BUT we enjoyed each others company and got it out of our system for another two years!
