My gorgeous mother turns 60 soon and I need to get a gift. And I am totally stuck.

She doesn’t want jewellery. We have already organised a weekend away so she has an experience but we need something material for her to open on the day.

I was trying to think about what she loves and one thing she loves is her bed and sleeping! She always tells me
Having her shower and getting into her clean bed is the most delicious feeling.
I would like to get her something luxurious for bedtime. I got her some
Cashmere socks already in the Jan sale. But need something bigger to go alongside it. My siblings might pitch in so the budget is a bit flexible.

Do any of you wise women have something that you love using, wearing around, in your bedtime routine?

I was thinking of a cashmere dressing gown but I can’t find one in the sale.

She won’t use anything electric near her bed at night so it can’t be anything electrical.

If anyone has a recommendation please let me know. I would be so so grateful!

I was in hospital recently and had a blanket made with my favourite family photos, its absolutely lovely and was such a comfort in hospital.

For my grans birthday i got the family to scan in all her old photos and made her one too as she spends most of the day in bed and she loved it too.

Something like that would be nice because of all the memories and family pictures on the blanket, but also a nice comfort since she loves her bed? Our photos are arranged in a heart shape and we could choose the background colour to match the bedroom colour scheme so its a really nice addition to the room.

I just searched for photo blanket online and a photo gift company came up, the quality was brilliant and it cost about £50 and was delivered in a couple of days.
