Ah well

pointydog · 28/06/2007 17:03

john smith

OrmIrian · 28/06/2007 17:06

Thankyou point I knew it was a very ordinary sounding name.

lucyellensmum · 28/06/2007 17:07

That was a major PR coup, wasn't it, OrmIrian - to get Mariella Frostrup to croon all over him? Even my glacial heart began to defrost.

DoubleBluff · 28/06/2007 17:28

Cannot bear the bloke. His slack jaw makes me heave.
It'slike he has false teeth that are falling out.
So not sexy.
Give me William Hague any day.

OrmIrian · 28/06/2007 17:33

Yep marieceleste. She does have a very good voice for that

Peachy · 28/06/2007 19:25

Ormiriam apaprently GB was a protege of john smith, hence the similarity.

And hence my hopefulness on his part

JoeAverage · 28/06/2007 19:27

Bleaurgh

VoluptuaGoodshag · 28/06/2007 19:29

I think he's sexier than Tony B but wouldn't want to shag him, I think of him in more of a Heathcliff mould, dark and smouldering but anything more than deep intense eye gazing would waste the effect

flightattendant · 28/06/2007 19:30

I haven't seen that many 'dodgy' emoticons before all in a line like that. Perhaps I really am a bit odd, for someone to do that. I do need help then.

OP posts:
flightattendant · 28/06/2007 19:30

Oh God but I WANT TO SHAG HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OP posts:
JoeAverage · 28/06/2007 19:31

FA - chuck the old chakras in the bin and buy some new ones

OrmIrian · 28/06/2007 19:31

It's not a shag thing though. I find many people attractive without wanting to shag them .

Having said that I could fancy an ugly person, never a stupid one.

flightattendant · 28/06/2007 19:32

Never did ask my doula what a chakra actually was. she kept feeling around for them above my head.

I did like her. Couldn't understand what she was on about though.

OP posts:
OrmIrian · 28/06/2007 19:36

Ah. I spent 2 years going to yoga classes with a very unusual lady who could see auras and talked about chakras and energy all the time (she didn't mean the kind that you get from eating chocolate). I used to just nod and wonder vaguely what she was talking about. But it didn't seem to matter.

She was odd though. She once showed us some photos of ice that had been frozen whilst people shouted certain words at it - the one that had 'Hitler' shouted at it froze in a jagged pattern and the once that had 'love' shouted at it was all curved and lovely.....

flightattendant · 28/06/2007 19:37

Ooohhhhh!!!! weirdy!!!!!

OP posts:
toomanydaves · 28/06/2007 19:39

Quattro what are you on about? Robin Cook is dead. Is that the joke? right confused, me.
Don't fancy Gordon either at all and agree about dandruff and halitosis although feel strangely optimistic about his tenure.

flightattendant · 28/06/2007 19:41

Be interested in having a look at his tenure, if you've got the link.

OP posts:
toomanydaves · 28/06/2007 19:43

The idea of Gordon Brown as a sex god is hilarious.
But he is clever and, well, dark, and I like an introvert after the incessant grin of TB.
But to lust after his tenure????

VoluptuaGoodshag · 28/06/2007 19:56

Could I just add that I love the word 'boak'. It's so expressive, especially when used in the "he'd gie ye the dry boak" (Apologies to any non-Scottish people)
Gey dreich ye ken!

Peachy · 29/06/2007 20:54

Ormiriam we have a slightly odd chap at Uni ahs that book too- crystal patterns! he is completely nuts though, really off the scale- seems OK at first and then you get to know him...

I remember working in Glastonbury, on my first day then introduced me to everyone and explained the crystals on the different PC's . This was a LEA run building too! had serious trouble keeping my face straight being from cynicsville!
