I'm not sure if the pictures will work, but it's nearly 2qm and my neighbours stupid lights are still flashing.
Aihu to kill the fuckers.

And I'm wide awake, with no fucking flashing lights, no fucking reason. Well, apart from the fact I'm taking steroids cos I've got a fucking chest infection (again, third time in three xmases). Fed up. But, hey, it's my birthday😀😀. I may be old, but as my tee shirt says, I got to see all the good bands

We have this, it's like daylight in our bedroom at all times because of our neighbour's white Christmas lights which they leave on constantly from December 1st. DH doesn't want to complain in case it sours our relationship with them, we really like living here usually.

Our neighbours have blue- it is so distracting. Theirs flash and are on night too.

There's no need for that these days as a lot of lights have timers. We have outdoor lights, conveniently battery operated. They are on a time 4-10pm, less than £10 in Tesco. If the lights don't have timers they should use a timer socket. Just selfish behaviour imo.

I second black out curtains, I have them and never see any lights. My neighbours have theirs flashing but it doesn't bother me cause I can't see them Grin

So inconsiderate. Speak to your neighbours tomorrow. I don't like flashing lights at all, don't know why people can't just have lights, however the least they can do is stop the flashing before midnight.

I think even 10pm is late to have them on until. My neighbour opp has blue flashing lights and kept dc awake on a school night. Thank god broke up now.

Last year we politely knocked and asked our neighbours to turn theirs off at night because we couldn’t sleep. They said they would but didn’t. We bought blackout curtains and still couldn’t sleep because it flashed round the edges. So I went back and politely asked again. They turned the lights off after 11pm.

Now they hate us. They had a house party for their son’s engagement and invited neighbours but not us. DH thinks they’re annoyed about the lights. But I was really polite and THEY were the CFs! DH says it doesn’t matter, they hate us because people don’t like being told what to do.
