Don't forget the lime juice!

Rosie1976mini · 21/12/2018 22:12

Awwww - that was my wee granny’s favourite tipple (twice a year - bless her!)

PixiKitKat · 21/12/2018 22:13

I'm 30 and have never tried a cup of tea. So I don't find yours weird at all

ScreamingValenta · 21/12/2018 22:14

I tried one in 1993. It was foul. I couldn't finish it.

CrookedMe · 21/12/2018 22:14

It's rank! But I guess you should try everything once...

babysharkah · 21/12/2018 22:16

I tried one last year, when I was 38. I won't be doing it again! It was horrid and sat on my stomach all night.

PutsFootInIt · 21/12/2018 22:16

You have not missed anything. Unless the idea of alcoholic custard curdling in lemonade appeals to you.

ScreamingValenta · 21/12/2018 22:17

PutsFootInIt A brilliantly accurate description!

poorbuthappy · 21/12/2018 22:18

Christmas in a glass. Needs the lime though.

SauvingnonBlanketyBlanc · 21/12/2018 22:18

I bought the pre made little bottles Blush might have one Xmas day morning I'm definitely not swapping my evening g n t or wine for it! (See user name) 😁

Shock @PixiKitKat that is shocking! Wow, why not? Will you ever?

OP, snowballs are sweet and yum. Yes include lime Xmas Grin

Haisuli · 21/12/2018 22:18

It doesn't curdle if you put the advocaat in last. It is a thing of beauty

brizzledrizzle · 21/12/2018 22:19

I'm in my fifties and never had one, advocaat but not a snowball. When I was a child my mum always let me have some in a sherry glass at xmas.

MrsStrowman · 21/12/2018 22:19

I was allowed one of these on my 13th birthday , because I was a teen and had asked for an alcoholic drink, I took one sip and declared all alcohol to be revolting. Whether DM knew it was vile and offered this as the drink of choice to put me off drinking remains a mystery.

TheMobileSiteMadeMeSignup · 21/12/2018 22:21

Honestly thought you were talking about the sex act until I read the second sentence Grin

I'm 37 and have never tried a snowball either.

SauvingnonBlanketyBlanc · 21/12/2018 22:21

Something tells me im not gonna like it!

OP posts:
Badcat666 · 21/12/2018 22:22

ohhh Snowballs are a thing of beauty!

Definately need a dash of lime, never had mine curdle. Also bloody delish if you use cream soda instead of lemonade... yeah baby....

G&T just taste of washing up liquid to me tries not to vom

CrookedMe · 21/12/2018 22:24

Oh god @TheMobileSiteMadeMeSignup a sex act?? Details!

KC225 · 21/12/2018 22:24

My first ever 'alcoholic' drink, I must have been 8. Funnily enough, now I loathe beer, wine red, straight or fizzy but could sip my own weight in cocktails.

All true about the lime.

Petalflowers · 21/12/2018 22:25

I’m in my 40sand not had one. Or eggnog.

Ohyesiam · 21/12/2018 22:25

Bleurgh.

Eliza9917 · 21/12/2018 22:25

DerelictWreck · 21/12/2018 22:28

I'm 27 and have no idea what this even is?! A christmas drink I'm guessing?

SlowNorris · 21/12/2018 22:28

I don’t understand eggnog

Mayrhofen · 21/12/2018 22:29

Omg, I think it was probably the first alcoholic drink I had age 7. Dad said I could have a taste of custard.i was bitterly disappointed.
