AIBU to suppose that if it rains this much NOW then it won't rain in the summer holidays because all the rain will have been used up?

Oh, I don;t bake, I fry!

It will be glorious for the summer hols. Warm, but not oppressively hot, with refreshing showers each night between 1am and 4am so watering will be unnecessary.

Bless you Eliza, you are a warm ray of sunshine yourself with your optimism.

I tend to use your logic too. We are off to IOW in August and the week before my DB and his kids are coming down to stay, so although logically I know it makes no difference, I still feel that it's getting it out of it's system. Like have a damn good weep and then feeling better....
