To think that garibaldi are the worst biscuits?

Greasy weird horrible things. Useless dunked in a hot beverage.
Nothing worse.

I’ve heard strange people claim other biscuits are worse, but they’re generally a bit strange and untrustworthy.

I like Garibaldis. They are nice enough to taste like a treat but not so irresistibly delicious that I'd eat the whole pack.

Can't stand Jaffa Cakes though. That dry sponge is like something I'd use to clean the bathtub.

I would choose a garibaldi over any biscuit any day

Pink wafers are the worst. They are the slut of the biscuit world, getting their cheap and nasty pink crumbs over all the other nice biscuits in the tin.

Rich tea spread with butter and marmite. Lovely.

I am with those confused by the notion that there are bad biscuits.

My grandpa used to give us digestives smothered in butter for supper before bed.

I love garibaldi biscuits! Only just found out they were called that but they are great, and I've learnt something new (always thought they were just the weird cardboard raisin ones!)

I'm with those saying there are no bad biscuits. Love a rich tea, love a pink wafer, never had a fig roll so can't comment but almost all the hated biscuits I like. Can't believe there's people denouncing the hobnob!

The only ones I'm not keen on are party rings. And jaffa cakes aren't my favourite but a jafa cake or a party ring is better than no biscuit

Whaaaat. I love a retro biscuit, garibaldi, fig roll, bourbon. Worst biscuits have to be custard creams, and those weird ones that are a sickly sweet biscuit topped with marshmallow!

I always eat whole pack of garibaldi, then always wonder why I did that, but at least all those flies must be one of your 5 a day. 😳

What an outrage! Garibaldis are the dogs bollox of all biscuits! How can anyone resist the sticky currantness? Madness!

Although DC hate them so haven't bought them in a while or I'll eat the whole pack to myself (DH only countenances Bourbons, the savage).

My fruit hating DS would devour fig rolls constantly if given the chance.

Ginger nuts are disgusting (as is anything with ginger in).

Custard creams are shite.

Love most biscuits, especially lemon puffs, Garibaldis and fig rolls.

But Nice biscuits? Never was a food so misleadingly named.

Garibaldi are yummy as are most biscuits...bourbon are not as good as they look though...

What are those ones that are rectangle with 2 strips of marshmallow and a strip of jam in the middle? They are the worst biscuit because the biscuit base always seems damp.

@Atetoomanymincepies - they're Jam Mallows. Always taste like your nan kept them under the sink and they got soggy.

I doubt if any of the politicians who have fawned over MN and done interviews have chosen a Garibaldi as their biscuit of choice. Unless Beppe Grillo is on the Italian version of MN.

I haven’t come across many biscuits I don’t like, but Dead fly biscuits are on the list. I’m not keen on ginger biscuits because they remind me of being pregnant and morning sickness.

Don’t mind a fig roll. My mum used to buy them but brother and sister didn’t like them so I trained myself to like them so I could eat the whole packet. Not had one for years.

I've always loved Garibaldi biscuits, especially because of their name and history.

At one time you could get them half coated in dark chocolate, which turned them from a good biscuit into a superb biscuit. I dare say they have now been discontinued, along with so many other delicious treats from my childhood.

The worst biscuits without a doubt are those dry mock short breads (Lincoln I think they were called), and pink wafers where your hopes are raised by their exciting colour, only to be totally dashed by their ghastly sweetness and horrible texture.
