Greasy weird horrible things. Useless dunked in a hot beverage.

Fig rolls are the worst, but I'd turn my nose up at a garibaldi too. Anything with a glass of cold milk is the work of the devil himself.

I like Garibaldi biscuits. Such an extravagant name for a simple biscuit.

Others have got it right - bourbons are the worst. It would be Oreos, but they're so unbelievably bad that they aren't really in the competition, being an abomination rather than a biscuit.

Dead fly biscuits are OK, Lemon Puffs are evil. I love fig rolls, can eat a whole packet at one sitting, so I don't buy them. I do like a good shortbread. I make them sometimes.

My parents used to call them fly cemeteries. I only learned their proper name a few years ago.

Like a ginger nut (as hot tea dunk proof) unless i am having posh ones then it's a dark chocolate ginger dipped or viennese jam and cream fingers.

Also used to call them dead fly biscuits. I was deeply disturbed by any crunchy bits, which to me only confirmed that the main ingredient was dead flies. I still get a tremor of fear if eating something with dried fruit in it and crunch on a seed 😱

Best thing about Garibaldis? When you open the packet, there are only 2 giant biscuits (unless you break them into individual biscuits of course) - one for me, and errr... one for me.

You can still get lemon puffs

Lemon puffs are vile. Garibaldi are acceptable but not one I'd actively buy. I'd eat them if they were in front of me though. Lemon puffs though no.

I'd never heard of Garibaldi biscuit until last year, someone mentioned them and I said "who's Gary Baldy?"

Biscuits are a complete waste of calories. Bin the bloody lot and bring me a slice of cake.
